I find it a bit odd that the club suggested 'upcoming games' as has been pointed out only one game then a break.

I'm going to make a call and say that the club haven't got a bloody clue what they're doing. For a start, Dunc should have been in immediately after Benitez was sacked. They've dawdled. What's that saying about Rome burning?

The hierarchy at the club go from one disasterous appointment to another. Who next? I don't think they want Big Dunc by the sounds of it.

He probably was to all intents and purposes. He'd have been taking training and been told he's likely in charge at the weekend.

Just because an official announcement hadn't been made it doesn't mean it hadn't been actioned.

I rate him a lot more than our last joke of an appointment so I think we stand more a chance with him in charge than we did a week ago .

This isn’t factually correct in my opinion.
After the Chelsea game he detailed the tactics he used and the reasons he used them, revealing a sharp tactical mind.
Almost everyone who has worked with him says likewise.
I think the idea he is a tactical simpleton is just a lazy piece of stereotyping to reinforce peoples inherent prejudice against him.

Didn’t say he was, my point was simply, last time Goodison was rocking and he fed the crowd and vice versa, however after that it was more run run run and a unbelievable strike from Bains to draw with Leicester. The Arsenal game was terrible and Ferguson admitted himself he was exhausted
