Started a career mode last night after waiting for it to install. Got the 60 percent extra budget and went ahead with fixing the transfer window.

First up new gk . Jack but land 25 million.
Then tielmans 11 million
Then Rashford 13 million

Sold Mccarthy to liverpool for 18
Sold kone to somewhere. Didn't bother looking.

Then United bid 43 million for lukaku. I dimiss them and ask for 83 million. They accept, now I've sold him.....

So that's a do over then

Gianluigi Donnarumma is a no-brainer in career mode if you're using Everton.

76 overall (same as Stek) will only cost you 10mil and is only 17 years old. Grows to 88 and you can either keep him long term or flog him to the highest bidder when he inevitably gets itchy feet.

Started 'The Journey' last night.

I'm a sapper for realism so made him a Spurs fan. When the offer came in though, well I just couldn't resist picking Everton.

Do need to ask something though. I've only just done the first training session at Everton. Now off to the US but stopped there.

For anybody who has got further, whatever happens is it Kane that your club signs which means you drop down in the pecking order?

I know it's Di Maria if you select Arsenal or Spurs as your first club, but I dunno, would be a bit of a 'meh' for me if literally any club in the league signs one of the best strikers.

As I said, I'm a sapper for realism (I'm not a gamer at all other than FIFA - and even then it's sporadic tbh) but my OCD gets the better of me.

Would just be a bit of let down IMO if they've gone to so many lengths to make the game mode ultra realistic, only to then have Kane rock up at FF like we'd not just have signed a free agent from Scotland instead
