If Tomori never comes
Will he know how much @Eggs loves him

....I don’t love him, Blue. I just think his type is exactly what we‘ve needed for a long time. I did get a bit giddy because I mentioned him as a possible target some time ago. We have no players with real powers of recovery in our defence, it’s brilliant for a striker to know that when he’s in-behind, he’s got a free run to goal.

I’d have been delighted with Gabriel, I’d have been even more delighted with Salisu who joined Southampton but I much prefer Tomori to Todibo who we were also linked with.

I think Chelsea see the likes of Arsenal, Spurs and West Ham as bigger rivals. It's more a cross London thing I think, rather than the nearest grounds. I don't know for sure but I don't think Chelsea and Fulham have traditionally played eachother a lot, a decent percentage of their total games have come in the last 20 years or whatever since Fulham have been in the PL a bit.

Chelsea have played Fulham 85 times in all, 31 being since 2001

Chelsea have won 48
Fulham have won 26
And there have been 11 draws

From West London clubs Chelsea, Fulham, QPR and Brentford..

According to the 2012 Football Rivalries Survey, Fulham regard Chelsea as their main rivals, QPR fans identified Chelsea as their main rivals, Fulham second Brentford third QPR fans identified Chelsea as their main rivals, Fulham second Brentford third and Cardiff City/Stoke City joint fourth. Brentford fans chose Fulham as their main rivals, QPR as their secondary rivals and Chelsea as their third.

Chelsea fans did not list two of the West London sides only listing Fulham, instead selecting Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United

So nothing like Us and Liverpool, Arsenal and Spurs or City and United then. Glad we cleared that up.

It's their local derby, so in that respect it is but rather like one rival being at the top of the league and the other not seen as a rival at all. If we were relegated the rs might see us in the same light and possibly United fans looked down on City in a similar light when they were fighting Arsenal and Chelsea for the league while City were scrambling around in the lower divisions.

I'm with you on this one mate. We need a centre half. A loan is ideal for now. And I think he is by far the best option

We have other options apparently so Chelski and Tomori need to get a hurry on and decide. He will want to come I think he will be on the bench at Chelski they have about six CBs. We only have two fit and one in Mina is not reliable fitness wise.

CB who can play at RB

Get contract Dave ready for some photos Everton lad
No idea if it'll happen, but being able to play the two positions will be a plus. Funny how a player I'd never really heard much about or thought we might get will leave me disappointed if he doesn't come. Love the transfer window.

Never seen the lad play and I’m not a YouTube highlights watcher

Fuming if we miss out on him

Is it qpr that is their local Derby then?

I remember them playing a while back and Chelsea had 2 players sent off. Not sure if that was classed as the local Derby then.

Odd that Chelsea don't consider Fulham their Derby side though , kinda sad given fulhams time spent in the lower leagues.

Stamford Bridge is literally in Fulham so that is their local derby, but yeah I don’t think there’s too intense a rivalry going on there.

If DCL is not a proven goalscorer (and he isn't yet) then neither is Richarlison.

The important thing with DCL and Richarlison is they are improving year on year.
I think they will improve even more this year, imagine the difference in the quality and speed of service to them, in comparison with what last season’s pedestrian, cowardly, hopeless midfield served up.

Looks decent from that vid, not flustered on the ball, composed and times a tackle well.

Looks like he has a good sense of when the ball is there to be won, and attacks it decisively. Nice change from CBs who go steaming into challenges on the halfway line they'll never win, and leaving attackers with the freedom of the park.

Does seem to love a cruyff turn on the edge of his own box though, so he does have some Everton qualities in his locker already.
