You’re right, there won’t be a single pie leftThere'll be nothing left by 7
Their time slots are based on them presenting two games from one place. They won’t have a game at 12 and a game at 6 because then they can’t do that. Their kick off times aren’t random, it’s what works for them not what works for you.
I doubt it. Like I said, sky have their own slots and they use those times because they work for them. I’m also not sure how 8 on a Sunday is better than on a Monday. You were saying before an 8pm kick off would be bad because people could have to leave early and kids couldn’t go etc. is that issue magically solved by it being 24 hours earlier?what i meant was is that its all arranged so that if there’s a prem game happening - the broadcasters won’t another prem match on at the same time if they can help it
tnt might get an early ko as its not a typical sunday and sky might have the later or two later kos. like with the next league round we’re on at 8 on one channel someone else on at 5.30
How are you saying goodbye to Goodison if you’re in BMD though? I don’t understand? You’re only saying goodbye to Goodison by being at Goodison, if you’re watching the game on a screen it makes no odds if you’re at home, the pub, BMD, or the lost city of Atlantis does it?I saw this idea mentioned before and I think it was unfairly ridiculed. I’d like to think the club could organise something for those not able to get tickets- something like an event in Stanley Park or a big screen in BMD.
I know there will be safety considerations and I know those with tickets might sneer, but there are a lot more people who want to say goodbye to Goodison than can fit in the ground.
Not a chance it won’t be on tv. The league and relegation look almost certain to be done by then, and 4 teams likely will be out of action because of the cup final. The chances of the last ever game at the worlds first purpose built football stadium not being picked for tv coverage ahead of Brentford v Fulham or palace v wolves are basically nil.Am I late to the party here - why would Sky or TNT move or even screen our game. It’s massively important to us but might not be to anyone else?
That said, as it’s on the penultimate PL weekend they can move it rather than being stuck strictly to the same time KO as everyone else on the final day.
I reckon we’ll have to be in the ground early as there’ll be a lot of attempted bunk-ins. Can see it being absolutely chaotic

Would Anfield not hold that title? We moved there before Goodison. Not a chance it won’t be on tv. I don't know how they define it to be honest, but Goodison has been referred to as the world's first purpose built football stadium for as long as I can remember.Would Anfield not hold that title? We moved there before Goodison.
This is how I remembered it. However, after looking it up, it just happened to work out that way. Their final game at Upton Park ended up being the lone game on the Tuesday night before the final weekend to fit in a match that had to be rescheduled because Man U played in the FA Cup semifinal in late April.Sure they had something for west ham when they moved
That wasn't a stadium, it was and still is, an outside toilet.Would Anfield not hold that title? We moved there before Goodison.
