Financial Fair Play investigation

So to sum up the day; we've been deducted either 6, 9, or 12 points, we will certainly be relegated, and we are facing oblivion.

The premier league hate us, the media hate us, all other clubs hate us, our owner and board hate us, and most of our own supporters hate us.

Just another day in the life of being an Everton fan then. 🤷‍♂️

That graph only shows half of the clubs, do you have one showing all 20 just for a full comparison?
As explained, those were only the clubs who had reported their losses at that time. The following report states that apart from ourselves only Man City claimed pre-tax losses of over £100M at the same time.

trying to put a little bit of a positive spin on all of this FFP bollox would I be right in saying that as they are interested in the 21/22 season and with us having spent [Poor language removed] all since then but brought money in we would have money to spend in the summer?

Be a bit weird if we survive this season knowing that there is a high probability of the PL firing an Exocet missile straight at the club weeks or months later and relegating us anyway.

It would be very unlikely to backdate any outcome, theory being, had we known we might have gained enough points to escape relegation anyway (I know how stupid that sounds).

Most likely is a points deduction in the season in which the outcome is determined, by which time we might have become mediocre enough to survive it.

It depends where we are at with the rolling 3 year loss. We’ll know more when we see the 21/22 accounts. Any day now…

EFC going out of existence would take 99% of the stress I feel out of my life.

(I ain’t even joking saying that…. 😞)
I know how you feel mate.

54 years of my life have been given to supporting this Club and the wonderful heritage represented by so many great players since 1878.

These days I find I just shrug my shoulders as the mess that is EFC corporate makes us fans a laughing stock.

The mess has permeated onto the field for the past 36 years - 1995 was a welcome trophy, but the malaise was there and we all knew it.

I still hope against hope that we stay up for the sake of all those greats and ther memories, and for the loyal fans.

However, there is a stench at the Club which has been there for decades.

Am I still a fanatic? The answer is yes. But it is like being a close relation of an abuser who keeps throwing your love back in your face with their actions.

COYB. Into the Spuds!!

Difference is that they are making good progress in the league. If they make the champions league then it will be very easy for them to increase revenue.

You increase revenue by consistently being in the champions league. Not a one off (I don't think they'll get it as they need to spend more to compete). Look at Leicester.

Regardless of champions League, they'll increase their revenue massively just by dodgy deals and the new sponsorship rules.

Newcastle have the perfect Blueprints to work from, Our biggest achievement in the premiership will be for the benefit of others.
Any club with new major investment and looking to build/Restructure to try and bridge the gap with the big boys, will possess a handbook on Everton's approach as a main commodity of how not to do things.
The premier league will probably even use us as a learning tool and an example to others..

The only club that won't use it will of course be us, the creators...

They still have to spend more. Fact. It's going to take them a lot longer and no hiccups to be a major player IMO as the avenues City and Chelsea had are closed
