Financial Fair Play investigation

We don’t need to create problems by selling Pickford. I could see the argument for Onana if we’re desperate for cash and we got offered unbelievable money for him.

Why buy promising players but sell Branthwaite. Seems counterintuitive
Selling Branthwaite gets us 20+million in profit for the P&L accounts - at no loss to the first team. Needs must.

I'm not suggesting I want to sell Pickford; I'm saying one of the ways to get us out of the immediate financial peril would be to sell him while his value is high. I'd say Spurs and maybe Chelsea would happily pay good money for me right now.

#Witsel is ours

Buy your Mata shirts
And yet people still listen.

Just don't get it myself. Even our 'In the knows' take a line from our chairmans play book by convincing people that they are a beacon of knowledge to be respected, yet evidence proves they shouldn't be listened too.

No wonder our club is in the state it's in. Everywhere you turn theres bluffers and opportunitists.

The Esk is REALLY good with the accounting numbers. And I don't doubt he knew someone who was involved with the Koeman hiring because we outsourced that which is stunningly embarrassing in and of itself.

Where he went spectacularly wrong was pretending he knew a single thing about the transfers. "The Pogba sale is holding everything up". Yeah....

Not sure if this has been posted but here is Swiss Ramble’s take on the accounts. He knows his stuff so what he says is a bit worrying. He doesn’t go into potential penalties as he just looks at the financials. Basically the gist is that with some creative accounting we might be able to meet the £105m loss figure. But our way of getting there involves figures that are big outliers compared with everyone else.

It’s behind a paywall but you can get a free trial and just cancel straight away. I’m not going to copy the entire article as it’s really long, involves loads of graphs and he is a guy on his own trying to make money.

There is no such thing as an In The Know when it comes to what's happening with Moshiri, the board, sale of shares etc Everton is a very tight ship.
You might get team news, but at the higher levels away from the players, nothing.

Personally pleased the club have called out Maguire’s coverage, he sounds like a bad kopite stirrer.
Hope they continue to do so, sick of being the nicest club on block, none of the press do us any favours anyway.
The rules are bent in favour of established wealthy clubs and if we can pull some creative accounting that keeps us above board good - just don’t get caught.
Auditors do change all the time as well, pure stirring in light of the referral for person clout, sounds like the new Prof Tom Cannon and he’s a bad 🔔 too.
