I’m sure they said they other week an independent commission cannot tell the premier league what to do in terms of a punishment, so something seems wrong here.

It's like a court hearing. The board of the premier league is the Claimant and we are like the Defendant. The Judge(s) are a panel of independent appointees, collectively known as a "commission"

Sorry if already answered in here. But do we have right of appeal, would any points deduction get kicked on to next season while appeal is heard?

It just looks like the PL trying to show everyone else that they have pushed for harsh punishments to save face when we are found not guilty.

They know it’s not a big issue (stadium issue) or that we haven’t done anything wrong that they haven’t signed off on already. This way, we aren’t guilty, the PL aren’t complicit in anything such as signing off dodgy books, and there’s no recourse for being sued by other clubs.
