Financial Fair Play investigation

And the flip side to that is club's overspending to win titles and promoting the league while breaching rules. How do the league and other clubs see that?

You can't have over spending effects relegation and not have the same to winning the league.

Man City will be a huge reason why the premier league jumped another tier in being the most lucrative league in the world. They have done far worse than what we have been accused of.

Deduction on points for us should lead to a bigger penalty for them. And the knock on effects of that is far worse than what happens to us.
Oh I totally agree. And it seems like they’ve deliberately tried to cover it up too.

its far worse than what we’re accused of. But they’re very good at legal loopholes…

It's widely accepted Premier League give assurances.

Pretty sure the Leeds CEO at the time confirmed it too.

Oh and more on the club working with the Premier League;

Everton had previously dismissed claims they could face a retrospective points deduction and issued the following statement: “We have worked so closely with the Premier League to make sure we are compliant we are comfortable we have complied with the rules. External auditors have told us what we can and cannot claim against the pandemic. If they want to take legal action then they can do so by all means.”
My issue is believing a word that the club says.

They are liars, hence me seeking official statements from people that matter.

Fair enough but in response to @Groucho saying the club have worked with the Premier League for a while... You said;

No mate, they really, really, really havent.

All I've said is BBC and co report the Premier League give assurances to both Leeds and Burnley, and the club have repeatedly stated that they've worked closely with the Premier League. If they haven't, can you prove it as you're asking me to?

Well no mate, I cant prove my theory, I changed my title for a reason.

And my statement was wrong, I was going to change it, we probably have worked with them since the charge was brought.

My issue is that people are saying we have done nothing wrong, yet we have a Premier League charge and all we have is a few quotes from random people and a Football Club that lies.

"At the time of the charge, which the Times reports relates to a tax issue surrounding loans for the new stadium build at Bramley-Moore Dock"

12 point deduction for one breach is outrageous beyond belief. If City got done for all 115 they wouldn't even be a sunday league team
Not really. Even if they were given a thousand point deduction, they'd end the season on about minus 900 and be relegated to the championship. Then next season they'd start on zero points in that league the same as everyone else. You don't carry points over (positive or negative) to the next season so a hundred point deduction would have the same effect as a million point deduction and so on...
