My money would be on the club being in the wrong.

Suddenly the rumour regarding the re-emergence of the scab six offing to form their Super League gathers credence. Perhaps a factory reset of football in this country is coming.

He's not claiming to be an expert/give new insight - was using his text and then provided a quote from the Echo which linked to the Times which reaffirmed his text.

Apparently the issue is related to tax on loans for the stadium (Joyce/The Times) - which would baffle me I thought costs for the stadium was a FFP write off.

Seen that too , yet as you say doesn't make sense.

Also seen elsewhere it is for one specific signing of a player....doesn't say who tho.

Then I've also seen it's for the culmination of losses over 5 years ( including Covid adjusted losses)

There's a lot of misinformation out there.
 
We don't know what is actually going on, is it P&S or is it tax on loans for the stadium?

If its the latter then surely the punishment if found guilty cant be a points deduction.

You'd think Joyce/The Times as credible as anyone though.
