Most journalists when they talk about our losses also just give the accumulated headline bottom figure from our accounts, despite a portion being for the stadium, EitC and Usmanov nephew's spending on the women's team. All of which do not count to P&S.

I don't know how much that narrows it down but it's not the 300 million they say we've lost.

Absolutely, they dont talk about that Chelsea lost 280 million in just the last two years. They have multiple 3 year stretches in recent history with their losses being over 200 million, so clearly that has little relation to the actual number that gets counted towards league P&S.

Did he have a large transfer value? He was a 31 year old with a year left on his contract who was of interest to absolutely nobody. Just because we paid a stupid amount for him doesn’t mean he had a high value.

Barring a major injury crisis, we comfortably survive that.

If we are hit with 6 points, City will almost certainly be relegated with the like-for-like punishments that will surely be handed out.

Right? Right?

Can't wait to see the media clambering to justify us getting 6 points off for one infraction, but City getting a suspended punishment for 115 infractions.

If we're docked 6 points, and if clubs are treated fairly, Chelsea and City must surely be getting relegated within the next 2 seasons.

They were planning to leave current euro competitions in favour of a closed shop European competition.
Doing so undermines the whole football pyramid where a team’s domestic success would no longer grant access to a prestigious European competition.

Edit: they were told (I think) that if they continued with plans, they would be kicked out of the prem - which was one of the reasons they backtracked.

And it sort of makes sense why when you see the state of the new champions league format which is possibly even worse than the ESL was going to be. It isn't a closed shop as such but it gives places to 'historic' clubs who didn't otherwise qualify by legitimate means. And it's one great big daft league as well so tomato tomato.
