I don't get how we are the ones being stitched up for this. Leicester and Villa (and Leeds to an extent) are in JUST as bad situation as us if not worse.

The PL has a case to answer too and that'll come out in this Commission.
Are they? I know they’ve spent a few bob, but they’ve sold higher than we have which probably off sets their expenditure to a greater degree than ours and have had European football more recently than us. Their recent accounts show a loss of £92m vs £31m the year before and £60m the year before (£183m) that’s before the P&S calculation but their losses are a lot less than ours so they are on the border but certinaly not worse

One team that wants to be quiet in this whole thing is Leicester
In as bad, if not worse, position than us
How much have Leicester lost over a rolling 3 year period?
If that's true it highlights how flimsy the PL's argument against Everton will be to that commission.View attachment 207365
Interesting.
I’m not sure it does, at least where Everton are concerned. We were within limits because of the Covid excuse this time last year. Our new accounts set to be published next week take us over the limit, so we’ve been referred. The journalists making out that this is the PL belatedly dealing with last year’s complaint from Burnley and Leeds are just mistaken.
£190m loss, over the same period ours was £372m. They could theoretically claim £90m due to covid and be absolutely fine. Still don’t know how we got away with blagging £170m covid losses.
The most valid points are already made.If that's true it highlights how flimsy the PL's argument against Everton will be to that commission.
We need to keep our nerve, win some games and this thing will be dealt with favourably IMO.
