Job done, into the next round.
Neils N. is keeping Digne well in his toes
Glad to see Bernard looking a happier camper
Lord Lucan / Delph wasnt too bad either...for a bit

In the shop window, playing for your future at the club...a few of the usual suspects did ok
Siggi though??

Finally - Pickford though
Sold a bit short for the 1st one.
Q) When, even in the sunday league, was fannying about in your own box considered the thing to do?

A) Never !

Rating
1. Pickford - 2 (counter productive whilst the rests work their socks off)
2. NKounkou - 9 (Ashley Cole like efficiency + Messi speed)
3. Digne - 8 (A small general in the centre of defence, convincing and reassuring)
4. Keane - 7.5 (need better decision making when pressed, otherwise solid)
5. Kenny - 7 (decent moving down the flank, linking well with Iwobi, need improve crosses in)
6. Bernard - 9 (assist and scored, diminutive surgeon in the middle, precise)
7. Syggi - 6 (lots of opportunities to turn and pass FWD but opted to pass back, seems nervy to face opponent head on)
8. Iwobi - 9.5 (physical in keeping possession, good attempts at goal, great assist, opportunist goal and good attitude)
9. Delphi - 7 (played well when the whole team played well, could be potentially red carded if not being subbed)
10. Richardson - 9 (always a handful for opponents, gritty as has Carlo's goals per season target to meet, a star player )
10. Calvert-Lewin - 7 (not much to do aside holding up FWD passes to great effect)
11. Davies - 7 (effective enough to break up few Fleetwood's play)
12. Kean - 7 (mindset not really in it as he may think he deserves more to be in starting lineup, needs to just work hard like Gordon and time will come)
13. Gordon - 9 (one assist directly or indirectly each fr left and right, Blue's future star in the making)
14. Carlos - 8.5 (could have risk injuries to some key players and causing tired legs, else superb team strategist and game master)
15. Sand pit - 10 (greatly improved physical conditions of players)

Looking FWD to next game! UTT!

Palace 3pm Saturday, West Ham 7.45pm Monday, two games in three days...

I reckon much the same as last night against West Ham, they'll have to see how they pull up after Palace and who is good to go again so soon.

Just noticed while we have two games in about three days, West Ham have an even tougher schedule

Sunday 7pm (home at least) but Vs Wolves

Monday us away at 7.45

What sort of team will Covid United be putting out? They'll have to rotate everyone, but then their second team has been better than their first choice so far.
