We bought from the stadium twice with ID in February. Very simple
Must have changed the rules in recent years for the Stadio. That was a ridiculous system before. Had to queue for flipping ages

When Shamrock Rovers played Juve a few years back in Modena, I ordered the tickets online but we had to collect them at a kiosk outside the ground - needed to show ID but very efficient. They were in an envelope with my name on it.

I've never seen a British or Irish team play in Italy always a league game. You can buy in town (and it can be less hassle) but never had a problem just turning up. Not been to a Derby though.

Gazetta on a Saturday with the wonderful narration of Kenneth Wolstenholme on the segment links and James Richardson presenting, live game on the Sunday with either Peter Brackley or Gary Bloom on commentary, quality players on show = magic times

Gazza at Lazio was a bit of a mess because of his injuries but he was always great entertainment on the show

As previously posted first game was in 2008 - Lazio v Livorno, last game of the season and nothing to play for. I got to the stadium wearing my sky Blue Dublin jersey. I was told that I should have bought my ticket way back from the Stadio. I had no idea. - when I said I was Irlandese they smiled and let me in free :)

A few years ago I was told I had to get a ticket with a passport ID in advance - it was a right PITA.

Good if they have relaxed things.

Modena was very smooth even though a Champions League qualifier - no long queues. A load of Kiosks each in alphabetical order, so I just arrived at the appropriate one for my surname with no delay. In Modena because Juve's stadium being constructed.

We also went to Verona v Roma a few years ago and yes we could buy at the stadium again with ID

Full game Lazio v Inter 92/93

Lazio had signed Beppe Signori that summer after a brilliant season with Foggia. His team mate at Foggia Igor Shalimov signed for Inter. Both Signori and Shalimov were excellent for Foggia that previous season so no surprises bigger teams came in.

Pretty sure Inter had just signed Darko Pancev who at the time was highly rated and wanted by big clubs in Europe; and he’s selected here for Inter. Gazza wasn’t yet fit to play.

Remember watching this live, as I did most Sundays back then. Simply the best footy around at the time.

Signori with one of the goals of the season at the end. Decent game with good goals.
