Fewer parts left on track than I'd anticipated.

Poor Leclerc. Nobody can Ferrari like Ferrari can. Nice snidey stuff mixed into an RBR parade. 100 for Fernando!

A great day for Checo. You try being in Max's stable and see what it does to you.

I think he's great for F1 in terms of entertainment provided he has competition and in terms of natural talent he's as good as anyone in the history of the sport, that said his personality is exactly what you'd expect from someone brought up by Jos Verstappen...

Exactly this. Racist, homophobic scumbags - entire family are as bad as each other and I include his wife and her family in that.

It shouldn't be hard for officials to work out any penalties before they send the drivers up to the podium. That's just ridiculous at this point to announce Russell as third place. The error was obvious by the AM team.

I'm fairly confident that they (the stewards) will have had an inkling* that Aston Martin had broken the rules, so why wait until after the race to decide a punishment.

They either touched the car or they didn't. If they did, the punishment should have been decided there and then, with the punishment within the race.

The team could have potentially made adaptations to their strategy during the race. It may not have made a difference, but retrospective penalties....

...should be the last resort. *I'm being polite here, they will have known.

The changes introduced last year to make the races more competitive between the teams has had the opposite effect. Red Bull are so vastly superior to the other teams it’s become boring. I know Mercedes’ dominated with Lewis Hamilton, but at least there was genuine competition from other teams and sometimes his teammates - Rosberg. Let’s hope Aston Martin, Ferrari and Mercedes can make massive strides, otherwise this season is going to be a procession for Red Bull just like last year.

It looks like it could be the most one sided season in a long time which is saying something given last year. The blame lies squarely at the feet of Mercedes and Ferrari as the two teams set up best to have provided a challenge to Red Bull. They’ve both clearly messed up and Red Bull have got even better. I dislike Max and Horner as much as anyone but fair play to them. He’s an incredible driver (but an absolute ….) and their car is incredible too.

Hindsight is a great thing, but I really wonder if the hierarchy at F1 are happy? The changes were made made to cut costs, allow more lower placed teams to be more competitive, but ultimately make the racing more exciting, as there is now supposedly lower tyre degradation. Ultimately though those changes have had the opposite effect and I’d say the same if it was Ferrari, Mercedes’ or whoever showing such dominance.
