Frank Lampard is a useless manager

Absolutely hilarious that, of all things, bombing Keane out for his constant mistakes and realising you can't improve a 30-year-old CB who's consistently making the same errors now for six years, is what people are having a dig at Lampard for.

Lampard was a poor manager and made mistakes. This wasn't one of them.

Maybe he should have handled it better, but the only reason Keane is in the team now is because of Dyche's nepotism. He's awful.
I was one of the ones who initially overreacted to this. In terms of man management and squad morale, telling a player they're gash and can't improve is probably a questionable move, but indeed it won't define Lampard's tenure.

Wrong for you. I'm not impressed by it still.
It's wrong in general - Hoffenheim were very much current Everton in form when he took over, stabilised them, took them to double the wins and all that, and so on.

I'm not his biggest fan either and he's not as good as his ego wants him to be, it seems, and he'd have benefitted from a few more seasons with RB, but to say he's not done anything or has nothing going for him is genuinely wrong. They also did him dirty by replacing Lewandowski with no good goalscorer and lumped Mane in there for no reason.

As you're a fan of stats - why don't you check what his points per game stats are? Or how many wins he has every season? He's already got titles and cups to his name and he's been coaching for about 10 years, he's got a good idea of it, but wanted too much too fast imho. A fair criticism of his is probably more apt to get from @Nymzee , but in general - his teams' problems have been too many draws, and occasionally bottling domestic games.

On that last line - he'd fit Tottingham... hm...

That's a great result tonight. Imagine a Lampard team going down to 10 men and then a goal behind. What a wonderful day it was when the trap door belatedly opened on the incompetent, deluded, tossa.
