Frank Lampard is a useless manager

It makes no difference to me, I'm naturally interested to see what happens given that Lampard looked so lost trying to get us to score goals and now he has to do the same again. Also there are 9 games to go and Chelsea are only 9 points ahead of Palace so they need to start winning some games given they are already in the bottom half which is slightly unknown territory for them.
 
Shocked at this appointment heard him get mentioned for the job and thought no what a load of rubbish. Don’t think this is the job he needed after us expectations of chelsea will be high and he’s instantly under pressure from the off.
 
Utterly unbelievable. Fraud frank conned a lot of our supporters and now he's done it to Chelsea's top dog. Was a decent player but a truly awful manager who should have gone back to grass roots to learn the game from that point of view.

It’s only a caretaker position. Even if he lost all 11 games it wouldn’t really affect them. They are just giving him a free hit to get fans back on board ahead of their actual new manager.

He will do well though with these players. I expect to see some lovely football from Chelsea as he has some very good attacking ideas and will bring a big lift in spirits. If he does well and they then succumb to fan pressure and keep him - then it’s an issue
 

Could be one of those cultural things to do with humour. "We could get in Frank in again", cue laughs around the table. "Hey that's a good idea"...."er, ok, you're the boss."
 
Frank agreed to take the Chelsea manager job, after the owner as a reward, if Frank can finish in the top four at the end of the season, would be given a penthouse apartment overlooking Central Park in New York.
