If there was ever a game where we needed our big CB's to be fit and healthy, it was today. Ironically, had someone else been sent off, branthwaite may have thrieved in the deep defending game.

Why put them on the bench then?

Overall it was mainly the lack of changes to think defensively at 10 men. Gordon, Richy, Dom we're still on the pitch. Any manager worth his salt with a huge stake in the game sacrifices an attacker for a defender. Lampard never did hence why we conceded 2 in quick succession (a trait seen all season).

Could def see a 2nd goal coming.
But soon as that space become available after 19 minutes eriksen's quality came alive. Up until then he hadnt had anywhere near the impact as he did before.
Reading all these comments about lampard should have done this lampard should have done that after the sending off.
70 minutes trying to plug gaps on the pitch with a player like eriksen pulling the strings. We were very competitive with 11.
We aint got that much quality at the best of times. 70 mins is a tough gig.

I'm the same. I would usually get worked up about, be up in arms about the decisions...I'm not. Just can't allow it to because it's a circle of pain.

Just want the season done with regardless of what happens.

They have one chance left on Thursday in my eyes. They blow that...then so be it.
