The frustration is understandable.

In defence of Thelwell, he has inherited a very tough situation. Club in financial difficulty due to years of mismanagement, inept board, a poor squad with players hard to shift, unrest in the fanbase.

However, Frank and his team must have known they were walking into a mess? Time to roll the sleeves up and do what they can.
TBF mate regarding your last paragraph I think Frank and his staff more than matched that challenge last season, it would be crazy to expect the same small miracle this season with little or no backing.

Whether you like him as a coach or not one thing you have to give Lamps is has an ability to use the media he's doing it now, by excerting pressure on the board. He did it after the Palace humbling in the cup. I like that we haven't had enough managers who put it on the toes of the players/board .
Im annoyed all over again with the tactics of that game now.

I have seen the great & bad times, but the season has not started yet - I agree we look very dodgy ATM - the board do need a shake up or even sell up. - but protest before a league game as started the season is premature - last season we had Raffa how much do he spend ?

Lampard saved us if he sees the fans split we may lose him......
There's never a convinient time to protest. The point of protests is to be disruptive.

Speak for yourself. Sack the board, hire someone that we know can improve a team
I can only speak for myself

I wanted Lampard from the start. I have backed him from day 1. I think he is the right man for the job and with some level of support will do great here.

I'm usually very wrong on these things. But I've never been more confident im right on something football related.

Ye I'm on the opposite scale to you. Never wanted Frank as don't rate any job he has done and think he's walked into a managerial career and feels he is entitled to success because of his playing career. Time will tell.

I was confident when he came in but after watching the squad play can’t deny it is worrying, I believe if we could of got Lampard and his backroom staff when we first come into money we wouldn’t be in this mess now. Still think he’s the right man for the job but he needs some funds available because the squad is not good enough.

Agree with the general point of all of this; however I'm still waiting to hear one solid reason why the former Preston and NY man was the best choice for our DOF. Either he was the only guy who applied, or someone legit believes he was the mastermind behind Neves/Moutinho/Jota etc etc.

If Denise isn't qualified to have her position, is KT?!?...

No idea. Thought he did well at Wolves?

Time will tell. He hasn't had enough time to spend any dosh we may have. Regardless, time is what is needed. We are in a mess and no manager could come in and make our lot of players much better. We just have to take it on the chin that we will be in a struggle for a good few seasons to come but I am not sure some blues can accept anything out of the top 6. Realism is needed now

It was never going to be over after one season of adversity.

They are absolutely on a hiding to nothing without reinforcements, but we’ve almost always been late in the market in my memory? Not exactly a new hurdle for Everton managers.

His record before us was not glowing, and Everton are a poisoned chalice to some degree. Ancelotti is easily top five managers in Europe, and he struggled (with more money to spend). It will be a tough season for Frank, no doubt.
