i know it's not Frank's modus operandi

but i honestly just want him to focus on improving the defence and midfield and to find a way to stop leaking goals for fun

i'd rather grind out a solid 1-0 or 2-1 than have a bonkers 4-3 or 3-2

we've had quite a few heavy defeats under frank as well which is worrying

need to just focus on the basics like defending set pieces and tracking runners and pressing hard off the ball then you can work on everything else

Only had half a season give the lad a chance

As a "Woolves Blue" I'm sure you'd know me than more what he *actually* did there - because from the outside looking in, off the top of my head it seems like Wolves have signed almost only Portugese players over the years, all of whom connected to the "Super Agent" who has the keys to the kingdom: Jorge Mendes, was it?!

I'm not knocking Wolves, I think they have recruited brilliantly: sure, most expensive team ever assembled to get promoted to the Prem, but I find it hard to believe the former Preston man Kevin Whatshisname was the key factor in a young Neves dropping UCL with Porto for Stoke away on a Tuesday.

I actually really like Wolves tbf, just have no idea what KT has done to warrant being here and more to the point, I certainly do not understand the level of deification he's received from so many people for no other reason other than he's the current bloke who happens to have the magic DOF title, therefore our saviour, without an ounce of evidence to back it up.

Astonishing to me.

I don’t know that much about Wolves these days. Had never even heard of Thelwell until he joined us.

I do think their success was more than just Mendes being involved. Even if it had been that, what a luxury to have owners who take directions from someone who is an expert in their field. If only Moshiri had done similar?

Whether or not Kevin truly has the credentials; if you hire someone for a role, give them the time and resources to do the job. I believe if Brands had been given full control, without interference, we’d be in much less of a tangle. The real issue goes much higher than who is currently Manager or DOF.

+100

25 years old, professional for 7 years, England's "No2 striker", had only two seasons in his top flight career where he broke double figures; and maybe more interested in playing dress-up than scoring goals.

And this is our star player and prime hope for the season.

Jesus wept.

The hyperbole surrounding DCL isn't helping the situation we're in. Granted his header against Crystal Palace is memorable but I don't see him as the player most fans do.

It baffles me that people turn their nose up at Dyche but Lampard is fine. You know what Dyche's style is, you know how he gets results. I can't say the same for Frank. He's an enigma. I know he views the game through a midfielders mind but I cannot tell you what his tactics are beyond that. Lampards been at 1 team in the championship and then went to one of the biggest jobs in football. Now he's with us and we've gone from 'this squad are mod table at nest' to 'have to accept a relegation battle again this season'
That has nothing to do with the manager , more to do with not being backed by the board & owner in the recruits he had specifically asked for.

If its a relegation battle the blame lands firmly at the feet of those running the club.

Ancelotti made calvert lewin. Isnt any doubt about that. I meant more the style of play in terms of anything special. The football was pretty dross under both ancelotti and benitez.
DCL was good for about 4 months under ancelotti. After that he just went back to his old missing sitters week in and week out. So much even Ancelotti called him out publicly. DCL is the most overrated player in the history of overrated players.
