Bet he'll look like he hasn't slept in weeks and is on the verge of tears. Once Everton has touched you.

But DCL was fully fit, he played vs Kiev.
Basically we had DCL, Rondon and Simms last week and all were fit, Rondon suspended but whatever. We have been looking for a striker all Summer.
If we signed one we'd have 4 strikers on the books and you'd be saying "Simms needs a loan".
You can't use hindsight to criticize the club on the back of an out-of-the-blue knee injury. (As said by Lampard himself, freak injury)
Dom had previous injury issues and it was perfectly reasonable to expect he might have more
We were even looking at strikers before Simms went, so the club clearly knew it was an issue
If you know Rondon is suspended and Dom still isn't fully fit, then you don't loan Simms IMO
Once Broja/etc is signed? Sure, loan Simms. But until the other striker is in you don't go into the first game of the season with a striker who might potentially hurt himself again and a suspended back up
Lampard can rightly complain about the delay in a new striker being signed, but he could have put his foot down and kept Simms a bit longer
For the younger lads especially loaning them after the seasons already started and teams have started playing games will put them behind the curve straight away at those new teams they've gone too.But DCL was fully fit, he played vs Kiev.

I certainly wouldn't be
I wanted to see him stay and get some games this season
Genuine question. Why don’t you think he ever will be. For me he is a natural finisher, and has the physical attributes to succeed. Where do you see his failings?DCL being injured doesn't change the fact neither Simms or Dobbin are ready for top flight football, and I don't think Simms ever will be.
Poor hold up play, lack of pace and not great movement. He's technically not that good from what I've seen. I was pretty unimpressed when I watched the Scottish cup finalGenuine question. He was largely impressive in Scotland thoughPoor hold up play, lack of pace and not great movement. He's technically not that good from what I've seen. I was pretty unimpressed when I watched the Scottish cup final
Hopefully Lampard wants better for this football club than settlingHe could have fought to keep Simms and they probably would have let him
He stood by and let him be loaned though
