2021/22 Frank Lampard

Still VERY early days obviously, but really positive so far.

Think the Newcastle result has to be a gimme given he'd been here a week and you can't sort the mess that FAT KOPITE ARSEHOLE left for him (Did you hear that in the cheap seats?)

Has a plan, a style he wants to implement and by all accounts a very competent backroom team to help him along.

Long way to go this season and it may end up being tight, but if he can continue to improve the side, getting Doucoure and Gray back in will help immeasurably, then it will be interesting to see what he can do with a summer of bringing in the players he needs and a decent pre-season warm up.

One game at a time though first, hey? ?

Benitez had the players confidence shot to pieces. Imagine how shattering it must have been to them, to be told by your manager, that he has to play defensive because his players can't string two passes together!

Anyway that's enough words wasted on that muppet. All credit to Frank he picked the players up after that defeat to the geordies, and they respond by smashing dirty L***s off the park today.

So far under Lampard, we've put seven goals past our last two opponents at Goodison. So all credit to Frank so far. He's got this team winning again. I'm sure he enjoyed putting Bielsa, in his place yet again as well.:D

This has been my most enjoyable Everton win, since the derby win last year. It's always nice to beat L***s imo. It's even nicer when you smash them out of sight.:D Really we should be able to gather enough points, to finish mid table imo.

Completely missing the point as usual but what’s new. You’ll never let go of your fetished hatred of Benitez to see the bigger pictures. Sad.
It's sad that you are still defending it in all honesty. It's not missing the point. You are suggesting (using another post about it that you have written as well) that people are only comparing the end of benitez spell in charge and not the start where you imply that the football was good and people were buzzing about the fluidity of the attack etc
Wouldn’t take much to go back through the match threads after Southampton Burnley Brighton etc. it was all about how we’d never looked so mobile upfront, how the front four were all clicking, how we’d come from behind more times in a few games than any other time.

My point is that the football even at the start was poor, and the performances werent good on the whole, just because we had a few 15 min spells in games and were able to be clinical and score a few blammos. As pointed out at the time, that won't last long term and funnily, it didn't. It lasted very short term.

2 of the 3 performances we have seen under this manager, are better than any we saw under benitez, at any random point you wish to select from his time here.

To reiterate, I mean performances. Good results and good performances are different things. (As I get the impression you think winning means we played well by the fact you think benitez first 3 games were decent)

Frank is going to be a great manager for us, he feels us, knows about us, knows its our club
Love the way he talks, could tell he was hurt after the Newcastle game.
one week in the window, sees our midfield weakness and brings in Donny - what a signing
rambling on cos ive had a few but love Frank already, given us our club back in 2 week
