I just made the right call earlier than you Dave.

Maybe if he outdoes Benitez and achieves our worst run of form for 30 years like he did. It’s conditional backing. The same silver bullet group will be calling for a new manager as soon as Lampard loses a few games in a row.
That will only happen if he does a very good job with us and I'd wish him well were it the case. Can this geezer ever be one of us?
Or would he go running when chelsea make another booty call?
A new bizzare civil war is forming.

Team Still Hate Benitez and cant get over it and also like Frank
AarruuuuuuAt a time of unity they are still trying to kill a ghost. Like mad men driven insane after too many days at sea.
I'm in both camps. Love frank but hope benitez wakes up with an ingrown toenail every day.A new bizzare civil war is forming.

It's sad that you are still defending it in all honesty. It's not missing the point. You are suggesting (using another post about it that you have written as well) that people are only comparing the end of benitez spell in charge and not the start where you imply that the football was good and people were buzzing about the fluidity of the attack etcCompletely missing the point as usual but what’s new. You’ll never let go of your fetished hatred of Benitez to see the bigger pictures. Sad.
Wouldn’t take much to go back through the match threads after Southampton Burnley Brighton etc. it was all about how we’d never looked so mobile upfront, how the front four were all clicking, how we’d come from behind more times in a few games than any other time.
He was the darkest, ingrained skidmark in the clubs history. We were going down under him - no doubt about it.
That man is the blackest of black marks on our history
