The older managers with their older ways are struggling to get through to the younger players imo.

Younger players want more freedom and ability to express themselves, they're taught in schools to question concepts, not just accept things the way they are. That's why Rafael was such a terrible signing and couldn't get a tune out of anyone, he decided everything. Mourinho has failed numerous times, Man United the most glaring one. Ralf Rangnick is also too old. So is Conte. Coaches with rigid tactics are failing. I believe Moyes is doing well at West Ham because even though he does have his philosophy on how to play, he also questions himself and is willing to change.

The fact he took us over 16th staring relegation square in the eye. All he has to do is survive. Get a good draw in the quarter final og fa if we make it. And he will be remembered very well for the first season. Gives him plenty of grace.

Can this geezer ever be one of us?

Or would he go running when chelsea make another booty call?

He only gets near that Chelsea job again if he’s done fantastic here. If that is his aim then good luck to him, I don’t think we can say players or managers are all going to be one of us but if they want to better themselves here (and bettering us in the meantime) then I’m all for that.

Conte too old at 52? Blimey.

100 %
He also keeps saying and doing all the right things, That has to help matters. Christ he's only been here a few weeks and he has a song already,
Not bad for a Chelsea loving Tory.
Goes to show, our fan base is not a reactionary Lynchmob who chase out managers who's face don't fit (as the press would have you believe)...They chase out crap managers who don't adhere to the motto.
UTT !!!

Some people would have you believe the only reason people didn't want Rafael was because of his history with the RS, rather than his past 12 years as a manager.

The most obvious failure of an appointment ever, no chance Lampard is as bad.
