2021/22 Frank Lampard

Benitez inherited a terrible squad, then bizarrely sold our two best players and lost the overwhelmingly majority of his league matches. We are dire and Frank can’t be expected to transform this team in a matter of two weeks.

One thing I will say is that the players are all giving 100%, which wasn’t the case under Benitez. As fans that’s as much as we can ask of them.
They didn't get anywhere near the intensity levels shown last week so I cant see how they gave their best. They showed they were capable of far higher levels of effort and commitment last week.

Please provide names of the leaders of this new insurrection please.

* you can’t, because you’ve just made this up.
Read back and see the questioning of Lampard - that's a small step away from looking to pitchfork him out.

Make no mistake there'll be a massive crisis for Lampard before very long and there'll be loads trying to engineer his departure.

We know that because we have just had 7 managers in 6 years.

I'm reading already here the rumblings of rebellion. I suppose I shouldn't be surprised, but 17 days into Lampard's tenure is a utterly bewildering even for our recent record.

WTF has possessed some of this club's fanbase?

I reckon the fanbase have taken Frank to their hearts mate, and wish him sincere luck in rooting out the scabs who've infiltrated the squad and packing them off.

Long term project this and I'll be on his side long term, he'll be fine..

There was nothing thrilling about having Benitez here i can assure you. It was the worst 6 months of my life watching football. I hated every second of it.

Only those with an agenda wanted to persist with it. The rest of us knew it would never work.

There should be no one questioning Lampard after 4 games given what’s happens in the last 5 years…no one.

He should be left in place even if we go down. He should be allowed to gut this squad completely, I don’t want to see 80% of them playing for us next season regardless what league we’re in.

We've sacked enough managers to last a decade. Lampard stays no matter no what just to give him a chance to build something.

If we went down however, he would have an incredibly difficult job in the Championship.

I would agree personally. But if people want to question they are entitled to.

Questioning a decision does not mean you want someone out or dont support them either though. The idea there is going to be a rebellion is absolute nonsense and fake news. I've never heard so much support behind a new manager as last week.

I have read through and there’s nothing at all suggest anything other than support for Lampard.

You making stuff up, to try and manipulate posters into questioning Lampard won’t work.

Vault me.

The away games are going to have to be treated completely differently than the home ones. We have players who will give up or lose the head at the slightest bit of adversity. He is going to have to make tough decisions on players who let him down.

This squad of players are hard to get behind. How can players put in performances like last week then put in that sort of effort. How can a player come on at half time and put in a totally unprofessional effort like Gomes did? There is no excuse for such a big drop in performance in 7 days. Until we can get back to back wins, we are not getting out of this and it's hard to see an away win coming from these players.
Yep, he might well resort to the Sam Allardyce School of Management solely for away games. I wouldn't blame him.
