Richarlison and DCL have never had a drop of chemistry between them unfortunately. We just need one of them at any given time to be on form.

The pair of them today were a disgrace to the shirt.

You sound absolutely clueless. Mykolenko hasn’t looked good at all since we signed him, and regardless of that Kenny deserved to start today. He was excellent against Leeds. And Gomes was brought on because Allan was going to get a red card. It was the right change.

All the talent in the world means nothing without hard work. Neither of them can say they absolutely gave it everything today. It was as half arsed as you'll see from a front two.

Richarlison will feel he plays better when DCL isn't playing because it means he gets played as a centre forward. But he's easily nullified in games as a centre forward and is wasteful with the ball. Workrate 8 times out of 10 is quality, but I'm not having that half arsed effort today and thinking thats alright.

I'd drop both the knobheads and give Rondon a game as punishment against City with Tosun

I don't mind both being in the team but as a two they're piss poor.

I agree though, one will be sold in the summer to assist with a rebuild.

The only way it works long term is if Frankel goes 433 and puts Richarlison on the right with Gray on the left and DCL through the middle.

When Doucoure is fit maybe he'll go 433 as we lack bodies in CM atm with our injury list.

Yep I think thats what we'd all like to see, that midfield area strengthened with 3 in the middle and then and 2 from Gray, Richarlison and Gordon and DCL down the middle.

All based on form though. After today I'm more than happy to give Rondon another match which is saying something

Honestly I see this as a problem. People won't like to hear it but they just don't work together, never have done. They're both players of which the last pass should go to. Neither can pick a forward pass.

If we are aiming to play a possession based game then ideally you would sell DCL and keep Richarlison. But football doesn't really work like that.

We need both of them to perform far better than today. I'm really annoyed at how lethargic DCL was. There is no excuse for not making it difficult for the opposition centre halves

I couldn't believe it when Ferguson kept it like that for his one game despite having seen at close quarters that we were always getting cut to ribbons. Now, incredibly, Lampard still hasn't ditched it.

Every manager falls into the trap of wanting to shoehorn both into the team.

One has to be sold in the summer imo - we need the money to bolster the side & they dont play well together.

This is true this, there was a thing a while ago when they went through a phase of not passing to each other.
Lampard will see they dont make a partnership, since him and Drogba had a deadly one he will know all about these things.
