Playing Doucoure holding was an appalling decision. He’s just not capable of playing in tight areas.

Time after time Holgate/Godfrey looked frightened to give the ball. When they did, he’d turn slower than milk & nothing would come of it.

Doucoures only attribute is his engine. VDB is much better taking the ball from the back & passing it. He looked lost yesterday. Doucoure should be charging round pressing.

Why he persisted with it when it clearly wasn’t working is a real worry.

That knocked the stuffing out of me today. There was no fight, guts or desperation. We went behind and gave up again. I'm not making one more excuse for them while they continue to steal a living. If some of them had an ounce of decency they would ask to take a pay cut or start putting their wages into EITC.

They dont deserve to be defended in public. They don't deserve support. They need to be criticised in public because this refusal to step on their toes is not working.

Lad I dont disagree with you abort our second ball but we played in the middle with two unbalanced players , VDB can’t cover so much space and D was never capable to create anything , we were desperate for Alan or third midfielder , when they noticed that we didn’t change anything in second half they just took over the ball possession and spread as like a butter , we went to Spurs and start strong with possession which was totally wrong as we press night and let them so much space to run through and then we choke at home when we should used the crowd and press them hard with three in the middle to control the game

I'm trying to figure out which stage of grief I am at - but the club is not very healthy, is it ?

More important things in life of course and I'd support the club whatever league.

There's still a chance we'll stay up of course - really think we need to hunker down and support the team / management we have, regardless.

This is the big problem....we need an almost entire squad overall....thats disastrous, and essentially means if we don't go down this season we likely will next....

We need to sell most of the squad....thats difficult because of their wages, so only solution is to drastically drop their transfer fees... so even if we can get these players off the books, we'll have very little money we can spend to rebuild...

We'll sell Calvert Lewin and Richarlison in the summer, as they're the 2 players we can maybe demand a big fee for, but then we need to find goalscorers, which ain't easy in our position...we literally will be having to rebuild every department of the team in the same summer just to survive relegation....these things take 3-4 years to do

Spot on. Sick of all this don’t add pressure on the players bollocks. They wouldn’t know pressure if it bit them on their arses.

There are people in the ground struggling to make ends meet who would love to have the pressure these wet farts on the pitch have.

All true - but a season of booing hasn't exactly kicked them into action has it ?

Crowd doesn't like the team, team doesn't like the crowd - no-one could really be bothered, club sinks - vicious circle isn't it ?

No it hasn’t, but it didn’t help when the owner employed an ex Liverpool manager. That set the tone for the season, and it was never going to end well.

His win percentage with us as of right now is the worst of all managers in all 6 major leagues in Europe. His points per game is half of that of Benitez. He has to turn it around asap.

problem is, he is throwing crap at the wall to see if it sticks. That is just making things worse. It means the stability for the players isn’t there, it means they have no base to build on. 28 players used in 7 matches!

The damage already done before he came in has to be considered though.

Lampard was largely to blame for the thrashing at Spurs and Yesterdays miserable performance due to poor team selections.

He has to learn quickly. 4-3-3 has to be the only option going forward.

I honestly think they are just crap, and lampard is making a massive mistake if he thinks we can start playing attacking, nice looking football with a bunch of guys who can’t play football.

we need to play dirty, ten men behind the ball, play for a point.
