You responding to me on the 22nd Jan, before he was even appointed....

I still back him. I will continue to back him until these players are moved on.

I'm fed up hearing people trying to be edgy and shouting about retired managers like Allardyce or Pulis.

I see players on the pitch who aren't trying their best. They are a disgrace to the shirt.

Said it a thousand times. It’s not the managers fault when players are walking around.

This group are completely unwilling to work.

We even had the Galloot in to try and see if he could get anything from them...they made a holy show if him too...and he's supposed to be popular with them.

This group of players are despicable. Worse than losers, they are cowards too.

If Lampard fashions enough points to get us safe from that shower the club should melt that Dixie Dean statute down and create one of Lampard.
too far Dave, way too far!

I get the sentiment and the humour tho

*I Think its was humour, if not get to bed you wee mischievous liitle troll you:red:

Been mulling this over. are they that. Or are they just not good enough. The only player i think over the past few seasons who i think genuinely has had games where he doesnt give everything is iwobi.
Is it lack of effort or lack of ability.

There’s players jumping out of tackles left right and centre. Some balls we’ve been favourite to win and we’ve needed up nowhere near them. You can see the difference when Gordon is working, he is running past team mates in both directions with and without the ball. The others just a rent working.

DCL jogging slowly across the pitch for 90 minutes mis timing every jump. Doucoure just jogging around in a daze not closing anyone down or tracking back. All the full backs not rushing out to block crosses. DvB and Gomes jumping out of tackles in midfield. Holgate and Keane letting players go by them or getting out jumped by them.

They’re not very good but this group also doesn’t work hard.

Everything else I wholeheartedly agree with tho!

Worst "collective" bunch of dross to ever don the Royal Blue and we have had some dross over the years.

Need to some fight and passion on Thursday or it will be adios 119 years!

Well 119 will still be there like but you know what i mean!

To be fair top you Dave you have been on point last few weeks. so credit where its due!

*goes for lie down in a dark room after agreeing with Dave

You wonder if some are trying to avoid injury knowing they've been tapped up already by clubs for next year if things turn out for the worst. They may be playing for relegation and a fat signing on fee somewhere else.

People who are still on Frank's side... please ask yourselves. Do you really think that Sam or Rafael would have only got 3 points from them 6 league games considering he had nearly a fully fit squad to choose from. And be honest with yourself about it.

This guy is taking us down. These players are definitely better than what at least 4 other teams have and lampards tinkering with formations and messing around with players positions etc is going to cost us imo.

Sam maybe 3 or 4. Benitez maybe 1 point.

Why do you keep bringing up a retired Sam Allardyce? It doesn't make you a football expert.

Nonsense and you know it

Well considering we had won 1 in 14 under Benitez, I'd suggest it's nonsense to think we'd be doing better under him.

The decision by Moshiri to appoint Benitez is the worst footballing decision I've seen in my lifetime watching football. Not just by Everton, I mean by any football team.

Sometimes you make so many bad decisions that you eventually can't stop the slide. I think we've maybe reached that point and I don't trust the players to fight to save us.

Lampard’s determination might be the only thing that keeps us up. I’ve seen some calling for Allardyce. The players and him would both know it’s short term and it would be horrendous.

I think Lampard genuinely wants to make a success of this. He’s probably in shock at the moment having to deal with getting stabbed in the back by these players most match days but I think he’ll want to root out the cause of the problems.

The players want him to give up, to leave at the end of the season so they can go back to their deck chairs and continue to fleece us for 100k a week. I don’t think he will though. Lampard to keep us up just about (will be horribly tight though) and then the mother of all fire sales to start.

No matter what happens though. These players should never be forgiven for this season. The majority of them have their cards marked permanently in my view now. Cowards and rats who have put Everton on the brink after bleeding us dry for years.
I think he has 12 games to get a tune out of this lot. I dont think too many will survive the shock waves that'll reverberate through this club if we're relegated, the manager who took us down being the first to go...it wont be much of his doing but that wont count.

It really would be a nasty affair and the number of casualties at that club will be legion.

Those players who've been reluctant to move on will think better of hanging around this locality, and they wont want to set foot on the pitch if they are one of those who go down in infamy. There will be a clear out, and the players not wanted will comply with it.

Wish he was as good at setting up a team as he was covering his arse.

Newcastle
“I have come to a situation where we have to get better in a lot of things. I’ve come into the club when they were on a run of results that’s left them in the position we’re in. It’s my job to change that but there isn’t a magic wand on that front,”

Southampton
“I know they’re good lads, I know they want to react, but sometimes when you’ve been in a hard run of form away from home – and generally before I got here – it’s easy to seep back into,”

City
“If the table doesn’t look great in a couple of weeks, so be it. It didn’t look great when I came,”

Spurs
“We’re 17th for a reason: before I got here. There’s a clear discrepancy in home and away form, issues that were there before me and don’t take care of themselves overnight. The players understand the gravity of the situation. They understood it before I arrived because they had been on a long run without a win,”

Wolves
“Myself and the staff came in with the team on a bad run, used to the feeling of losing and not getting points,”
