What’s @davek take on Frank
They always put a scary part in at the end of a clipDid I, did I see ...Iwobi? Was that....Him???? Dear lord dear lord.
He is who Lampard has available. He is not exactly a Benitez player either, hardly played for him.yeah not really judging, just a feeling because Benitez has left, he might get less opportunity from Frank. If a manager buys a player, usually they're going to play them, but this isn't Frank's buy.
Enjoy the ball is quite the antithesis to Benitez's philosophy of avoiding contact with the ball as much as possible . Seems promising
Puts into perspective just what a meatgrinder Chesea's managerial chair is, doesn't it? Obviously, being an international for England exposed him to a lot more managers than the average bear, but wow.I think when you look at the managers he has worked under - surely he can cherry pick the best aspects from some of these;
Keegan
Capello
Eriksson
Hodgson
Viera
Pellegrini
Redknapp
Ranieri
Mourinho
Scolari
Hiddink
Wilkins
Ancelotti
Villas Boas
Er, Benitez
Clean slate for him.
Unfortunately.
I would imagine Colemans list would be equally as big.Puts into perspective just what a meatgrinder Chesea's managerial chair is, doesn't it? Obviously, being an international for England exposed him to a lot more managers than the average bear, but wow.
Farke just didn't seem to fancy him at Norwich and the nobhead fans really early on turned on him - think they expected him to carry the team straight off the bat.I'd be absolutely delighted. Appreciate he hasn't managed to set the world on fire at Norwich this season, but everything I've seen of him for Scotland and Chelsea says to me that he's a midfielder in the Barcelona mould. Low centre of gravity, great first touch, wants to take the ball from the defence and progress it into the forward players.
Sounds OTT, I know, but I'm genuinely convinced he's a huge star of the future. Vividly remember watching him play for the first time against Liverpool, not having a clue who he was, then spending the next hour responding to various WhatsApp messages from mates who were all laying eyes on him for the first time and all having the same reaction as me.
This is the thing for me. One of the reasons I’m so happy with an appointment like lampard, isEnjoy the ball is quite the antithesis to Benitez's philosophy of avoiding contact with the ball as much as possible . Seems promising
