Really, what game was you watching
Coleman is a right back next wing back
Holgate is a right footed player and not suited to playing left side of a back three.
Godfrey is more comfortable on the left, not right
Gordon playing wide left when he is more productive wide right.
Richarlison is not a central striker but more productive playing off the left

You said all those players were playing out of position...now youve given me a list where .

RB playing on the right
CBs playing at CB.
Wide player playing wide
Brazil centre forward up top

lol

The bitterness about your super sub not getting a game is astounding.

Maybe....just maybe....our manager knows more than you about that player in particular and football in general? Just hazarding a guess there, you know....given that he's a former world class footballer and managed a top European football club.

It's got nothing really to do with Patterson. His continued deployment of Kenny is more my issue. Since you are such a big Scottish football fan, you'll surely know how he was regarded up here. Every fan of EFC can see he's hopelessly out his depth, wherever he is deployed.

His continued deployment of two in the middle of the park when he plays 3 at the back, or indeed 4, is what my issue is. We are constantly over ran and dominated. So he might have those honours, which clearly I do not, but that does not mean he's immune to critic. Many other decorated players agree with the assessment I have.

He was regarded so highly up there he couldn't get a first team start. Fans will talk up their own players and not believe that they could have been wrong about them.

Lamps is what he is, a slightly naive coach with potential who is trying to find the right formation and selections especially away from home. I would have thought he would have given more players a go by now but tbh he probably is trying to trust the experience to scrape safety then have a clean sweep in the summer, issue is we have mostly a gang of frauds who turn up at home but can't step up away or if we go behind. I blame the players and the rotten recruitment for where we are more than a fella who has been here six weeks.

Lampard is just another symptom of our rotten recruitment. Utterly unsuited to the job he needs to do.

Who did you want Big Sam? Perreria? We didn't have many options. Truth is our players aren't good enough especially at the back. Benitez was trying to play negative and effective but they couldn't do that.

The names in the fray were all pretty depressing. But in the end, we ended up where we were because of the appointment before that didn't we, another bad call, like all our player signings. And then when we finally fired Benitez we didn't have anyone already lined up (which you'd think any club with a dead man walking for a manager would have been busy sorting out in the background), and ended up with a an awful field of candidates. And now we've got what we've got, an inadequate manager without the tools or experience to do the job hired because all the other options were even worse. Its just one big embarrassing mess.
