Being responsible for 118 employees is not a great deal, when you have managers under you.
Have you not heard of the chain of command and delegation.
Where have I ever said all 118 reported DIRECTLY to me

So we shouldn't hound out managers - being understanding and patient - but we should sack Lampard and be impatient and show no understanding? But when this kind of situation happens. Isn't it on us as fans as well to show a bit more understanding and patience? We can blame the owners all we want but it doesn't help when we hound out a manager who did pretty well in his first season after a bad start to his second.
You could call me a hypocrite because I want lampard out. But the reason I want him out is because I strongly feel he's taking us down and a more astute experienced manager would have had us pretty much safe already. Relegation could be the end of this club and keeping Lampard in this situation is not a sensible idea.
Yes because if we get relegated then that could and possibly will be the end of the club as we know it. And could be a leeds/Sunderland situation. So we shouldn't hound out managers - being understanding and patient - but we should sack Lampard and be impatient and show no understanding?
Some even may say that the emphasis on 'astute and experienced' manager could have meant Benitez, but let's look at how that panned out.
I don't know if Lampard is the man and some recent performances, especially away, have been lacklustre, however the common denominator is the squad.
Who do we bring in who'll guarantee to keep us up? If we're going to change managers at this point, it'd have to be someone who is likely to do this.Yes because if we get relegated then that could and possibly will be the end of the club as we know it. And could be a leeds/Sunderland situation.
Whereas in the case of Silva for example, we were never going down, we were just looking at a possible bottom half finish.
Lampard had wasted games trying formations and ways of playing that haven't suited the players. That is detrimental to the club right now.
I was responsible the the movement and safety of 800 people on a central London construction site in my last role.Think I had 600 staff working with me atast count mate. I never once mentioned it on here though, mostly because I’d get called a hideous Tory.
Think a Margaret Thatcher day would be brilliant myself as long as it is a bank holiday. We can all have a jolly knees up and celebrate her ahem, passing, and let the rest of the country and the world know what we think of her ?Now that we've moved on to the Tories, did anyone hear that beaut suggest a 'Margaret Thatcher Day'...that would be just hilarious in Liverpool. Almost worth agreeing to that just for the laughs. (but no not really)
You’re just making wild assumptions.Yes because if we get relegated then that could and possibly will be the end of the club as we know it. And could be a leeds/Sunderland situation.

I think if you listen to people in the know like the esk and other such people. They will tell you that If we don't come straight back up then the club is pretty much doomedYou’re just making wild assumptions.
Newcastle went down, came back up. Villa went down for 3 seasons, even finished 13tg in the first one. And look at them now, mid table spending money. 400mil apparently in like 3yrs

The esk ITK ? ? likes he’s never got things wrong in the pastI think if you listen to people in the know like the esk and other such people. They will tell you that If we don't come straight back up then the club is pretty much doomed
"It needs to be highlighted"
Everyone knows there's a lack of mental strength - that's nothing new - as I said Ancelotti said it, as did Benitez. Club captain too. This teams form fell of a cliff under Ancelotti. Benitez first 13 league games, were equal to Ancelotti's last 13. We sacked Benitez a few league games later.
In his first couple of weeks Lampard was quick to brush off what was before him, and rightly so. He said he wouldn't be in the job if everything before him was fine. He was now Everton manager, and he come in with us 16th, 4 points from relegation with a game in hand. He had 18 games to play. Refreshing.
What's happened, is Lampard has started to consistently talk about what was before him as an excuse. It's self preservation, protecting himself, his PR.
^ All that and more.
Lampard is very clever, perhaps so much so that a lot of fans can't see it but for me, he has to pack it in with the narrative/talking about what was before him and embrace the here and now. There's no time for licking wounds, or even worse - self preservation when in a relegation scrap.
If Lampard wants to keep talking about what was before him, then maybe he could start being asked why under him we're averaging less points per game, scoring less and conceding more under him than what was before him.
