Here's the issue. What has Lampard done in his career to suggest he is the guy to rip apart a Premier League squad and institute a complete rebuild? Not only that, but it is a proven fact that gradual evolution of a squad results in better results than disastrous revolutions. Make what you have better and then add to it over time, like Moyes did.

hes been here about 2 months as he’s said we need to stay up and then go from they’re

I think its unlikely to happen but I do think there's a possibility Moshiri panics and pulls the trigger if we lose to Burnley. He'll end up going for someone like Big Sam to get us 3 or 4 wins from the last 9.

Saying that if we apply ourselves like we did today and if we can hopefully field better players like VdB and more athletic players like Patterson at RB then we'll get a result against Burnley.

Today was an improvement even though we lost and I think we were unlucky not to get a point. Lampards issue is that time isn't on his side.

I believe his first year at Chelsea shows he can

I'd much rather try that approach than bring in big Sam, sign Tosun and Walcott long term, and have an old squad who can't improve and will only decline.

all our games now mate are vital

could do with some lady luck

We're in a weird situation with Lampard: if we stay up, this feller should have a statue made of him, because he's walked into a madhouse; if we go down, he should be sacked.

Literally a single point either way will decide his fate - not only at Everton, but probably his whole managerial career.

See, that's the thing I don't get. Lampard has no record to suggest he is a good manager. If we are going for a young manager I would much prefer someone like Nathan Jones, who has proven he can build a side and who has come up through the leagues. He had a bad period at Stoke, but has bounced back wonderfully,.
So this Nathan Jones you’ve been gone to long

Gets 3 yrs at Luton to build something, does well goes to a bigger team in stoke in mid table.
And wins 5 games in 30 and gets sacked

Now back to Luton and Doing ok Again. So he’s done quite well having 5 yrs at a club. And yet you’ve made your mind up on Frank in 8 games
