I can’t see Lampard getting jibbed even if he takes them down as he’s had Championship experience. If they did jib him then you’ve got Duncan Ferguson trying to rescue Everton from relegation.

It's really not important because it has no urgency to it.

All season we've seen how useless and technically inept the majority of this squad is. They were the same under Benitez.
Some are just not very good footballers - like Kenny, Godfrey, Holgate, Doucoure - really dreadful technically.
Some have talent but don't have the character or guts to dig in - and crumble at the first set back - like Keane, Pickford, Iwobi and lately DCL.
Some have talent but are raw and cannot be relied on to get us out of this - like Gordon and Mykolenko.
That leaves people like Richy and Gray - who are trying too hard as they feel they have to do it all themselves - sometimes trying to dribble round 4 players. The remainder are people like Coleman - who tries but is too old and Rondon who was never going to be a prolific number 9.
Lampard sees enough of these in training - but I have no idea why he keeps setting up with the wrong formation or picking our worst players.
I imagine someone like Allardyce would quickly recognise a dud centre half - and never pick Godfrey or Holgate in that position.I'll not forget the shambles at QPR. If Mina is unfit we definitely have to play Branthwaite. Play 5 across the back - 4 in the middle and 1 up top. Try and nick 1 nil wins - even at home. Lock it up.
I honestly think it's too late to stop the rot - and doubt any manager can save us - not with these defenders.
Just let Lampard pick the youngsters now - or at least those who can kick a football straight and jump higher than 3 inches.

I wanted him from all the names we were linked with.
If Everton are relegated, I don't think it will be with Lampard as manager. They'd sack him/go for anyone for short term uplift to get us over the line. A Ferguson or Allardyce type appointment.
Panic will set in the second we go into the bottom 3 - and Moshiri will act.
I don't think Lampard will be sacked because I think we'll stay up but if we lost the next 3, so 9 defeats in 12, I reckon they'd bin him.
Moshiri give Koeman a fortune and then sacked him 9 games into a new season after the season before be qualified for Europe...

It's as simple as that mate.
But to my mind the effort is there. It's not about getting Goodison up for it either: they will be.
WTF would be the point of appointing him again?
A win settles this right down: when we beat Leeds it felt that way; then when we beat Newcastle it felt that way.
If we beat those pie munching troglodytes up there on Wednesday the panic will be over again....for a bit.
I think this will be our pattern...and I think it'll be touch and go to the 38th game.
