Honestly, I 'kin hate such nonsense. Should have seem my last lot of 'objectives'.
It came into the Irish Civil Service around mid 90s. Absolute American rubbish. I hated it as manager and as a direct report. I had it in three Government Departments.

Meaningless artificial waste of time. If someone was underperforming, then talk to them at any time... Mid year reviews??) Ffs. Just have a quiet chat and virtually put an arm around them.

In the end I found myself dealing with the manager from hell. Despite bringing this to the attention of the Head of HR, and months off work with stress, that clown is still in place while I decided to take early retirement.

PMDS was useless to me.

Oh honestly mate, it's the kind of crap that useless folk hide behind to create work when there is none or pretend to be able to manage. I've done the English civil service and there's plenty who lap it up.

I'm sure Lampard ain't a mid year review kind of guy though ;)

Cheers mate. It is such an artificial fake process. I believe in collegiality, encouragement, and teamwork. Not a pita load of paperwork.

I worked happily for 37 years, no problems, always got on well with my staff and managers until 2017. Then this horrible person became my manager. I stuck it for 3 years before going off with stress.

PMDS was SFA use to me.

I really wish Frank the very best from a personal basis and from the point of us fans and the future of this Club.
 

As above, the morale and confidence is so low, it's proving difficult to reverse. The injuries and suspensions don't help and our defenders are error prone, seems to be a perfect storm of crap, I hope we can weather it and go again next season with a few new players who hopefully are driven to succeed.
 
At some point we have to keep faith with a manager. Whether we survive or not i would keep him in position. My only worry with him is he seems to only be using how a player performs in training as his guide to whether a player gets a game. I know it should be the best way to pick your side but there are players in our side who must train brilliantly but are consistently absolutely crap in an actual match. I'd like to see how a player is performing on the pitch being used as a guide a bit more as to whether he gets picked for the next game.
