Wouldn't surprise me to see Nuno as our next manager TBH mate. Moshiri is an admirer, Thelwell has worked with him. Has experience of getting a team out of the Championship.
Again will be a disaster. Look at what happened at wolves with missing 2 players how would he cope at us loosing 7/8. And just look at spurs.

I just don’t want another boring park the bus manager.

I agree in that it makes sense to keep Lampard and let him build a team long term but for me thats something we should do if we are in the PL.

In the Championship we need a pragmatist who knows how to win/draw by hook or by crook and get us back up the season after before we lose the parachute payments etc.

A season in the Championship wouldn't kill us as DCL/Pickford/Mina/Allan and possibly Richarlison will all be off at the minimum which will claw in funds to cover the losses, and the stadium will still be built as its Moshiri's golden egg to make a profit on any future sale - so realistically we need to get someone in who gets us back up.

Likewise I still believe if we had a pragmatist at the club at present they could still keep us up.

For arguments sake say if Alladyce was reappointed tomorrow - I would give him 2 seasons even if it we know long term its not ideal because he'll give us short term stability which is what I was hoping Benitez would have offered whilst BMD is being sorted, big earners go out of contract.
I’m not sure that wouid work the majority of the fan base against him. And Is he the type to build a young side? I doubt it.

And he took the P last time, winding up the fans in press conferences, talking about the following summer and buying players, when he knew he was getting sacked.

I’d rather stay down a seaon and build a young team that has half a chance when they get back up. Than to come up with half of this group and more over the hill journeyman, who Sam would target

if frank does go, the whole backroom staff should go as well, coaching isnt working, we get more injuries in training than during a game, they have been there to long

Rafael's appointment was wrong, but it was also wrong to fire him. Benitez talked about him being there to make changes to professionalize the club, and there was a lot internally that we did not know about. However, it takes time. Changes lead to resistance, and it will usually get worse before it gets better.

I'm pretty sure we had avoided relegation with Rafael, and could have started building something. After all, Rafael is an experienced manager and is without a doubt a skilled coach. Although he's not everyone's favorite. Not mine either.

Instead, we hire a rather inexperienced manager, and throw him to the wolves. We roll the dice. That's pretty much what we do as a club. But now it's really time to roll the dice. Lampard is in deep water, and seems helpless. Relegation will be a disaster for the club, and it can take a long time to get back up. . Many of the same players will also play here next year, and the economy will not improve either.

Yeah. It was his team talk at half time when they were 2.1 down. Basically keep at it as we'll fold. And it happened.
I'm not doubting if he told the players that. He probably did. Who knows. I don't nor do you. I dont care.

What i do know is he told the sky cameras that after the game. And there is a reason he disrespected us. He is fighting for Burnleys life and doing everything necessary. And fairplay.

If Burnely was 10th and we were we where. He would never come out with that. To the cameras. He's actually a nice bloke. But I know exactly what he was doing.

If ferguson said that about Arsenal back in the day. They'd be all talking about the mind games.

is without a doubt a skilled coach.
Didn't see much output from his skilled coaching when he was here.

No club in the league would have kept him in a job, most would have pulled the trigger before us. The ones that acted early like Villa and Newcastle will reflect on the success of those decisions from the comfort of the PL next season.

Doing nothing will make relegation inevitable. There is still time for one more roll of the dice, hopefully by bringing in someone that knows how to set up a defence. Is it crazy? Yes, but the alternative is to sit back and watch Everton be relegated under Frank Lampard.

Lampard does not have what it takes to keep us up!

Actually (and sadly) I think the problem is that the players do not have what it takes to stay up.

They are just not good enough. You can care and have all of the passion in the world towards a cause, but sadly if you do not have the ability to realize that cause, it will never happen.
