2021/22 Frank Lampard

I just can't see the point in sacking him now unless he's been on the phone to BFS. Even if Sam came in would he save us with this lot. Who else would there be who may save us. I'm afraid the parties over. Oh and just to pour petrol on the fire. Imagine us having to go to the cess pit needing a win to stay up and them needing a win to win the title. Not sure if that's mathematically possible at the moment, but just a thought or should I say nightmare.

I doubt it'll make a blind bit of difference. But we have to see if it works.

I dont think Lampard is the cause of our problems, but he certainly isn't the solution to them. Losing 4 points from two games where we just had to get behind the ball and defend what we had in the last 4 days underlined that for me.

Hope I am wrong but I think the WHU/Burnley games will be the ones that sealed our fate.

Criminal to drop 4 points in those circumstances. I can accept getting a tonking on the day like at Spurs but to be in the game and hand the points over to the opposition and not attempt to make any changes from the bench was dissapointing.

Even yesterday - Rondon & Delph on for DCL and Iwobi at 70 minutes and we probably come away with at least a point and still sat 4 above the drop.

Would he go back to Allardyce?

Allardyce himself would love all that hero worship.

It’s an atrocious thought that we’d go back to him - but if he sacks Lampard then it can only be someone like Allardyce or he goes with Ferguson (which is pointless). No one with any sense would want to come into this mess.

He couldn't keep West Brom up so why go back to him with 9 games left?

I posted last night but its probably got lost in the mire but does anyone think someone like Lampard would allow someone to come in alongside him until end of season to assistant manage the team but be the defensive "go to", bit like Allardyce? Would it even be considered?

Like everyone else I'm clutching but I just cant stomach a relegation, I and others have said it and I stand by it, it will kill this Club and I personally cant see it happen?

*I cant actually believe I just advocated Allardyce

Does that stop Godfrey slicing a cross?

I wanted Delph on at half time personally but it still wouldn't help a defender not defending or a team pressing when they should.

The West Ham mistake was going down to 10 men.

The games since then we've had 2 fit midifielders in DvB and Doucoure. Now we just have Doucoure.

Unless we play with 7 defenders... we're out of options.
Won't Allan be back for Saturday? Hopefully that will make a little bit of difference (yes, I'm clutching at straws here).

It takes the club six months to decide on the shade of loo roll. Appointing a new manager will take well into next season by the time moshri refers to his oracle namely jocorian - the unregistered football agent

Allan VDB and douncs are the 3 that should play. It’s just keeping them fit and not suspended. Mina getting back and staying fit will be a big plus, but yeah we are clutching at straws now.
