Stick with Frank and we are doomed, anyone else agree? Change may not work but at least it would give us some hope

Tough situation.

I think you’re right, Frank doesn’t have the stones to lead us through this IMO.

However, sacking another manager allows the players to win AGAIN.

On the contrary. Keeping Frank - and ludicrously talking of giving him next season as well if we go down - is giving up. Because under Frank there is no hope. The only hope now is to wield the axe.
I agree from a start of a season, Frank would have had time but we are in a relegation fight we need wins against the big sides, I can’t see Frank delivering those points.

That guy was tapped up for his present job he holds now last December......hence we never made Europe.....
To the suprise of many who thought he was finished at the top level. Gittong these relegation whimps to the last game of the season and still i with a shot of Europe was genius.

Beating them at Anfield will never be forgotten.

Desperate times call for desperate measures.

The problem is our owner has sacked managers well before their time previously even before a proper replacement was found. we can argue all night about which ones should or should not have been given longer. Right now of course many are thinking that doing this now is the same and he needs time, and I for one do not think it is.

We are actually in a relegation battle and there doesn’t seem to be a way that our current manager can stop it. He simply isn’t experienced enough. Had we not been in this downward spiral then maybe Lampard could have got a tune from this band of wasters and built slowly. There isn’t the time for that now, when you’re in a downward dive you get less and less time to pull up and get out of it.

I would part ways with him asap and get someone that can make us hard to beat, we can bore everyone with a 0-0 when we play away which is better than the nil points we are getting now.

I know nobody will agree with me right now, come back on Saturday afternoon and see how you feel. Then Sunday afternoon when Burnley beat Norwich and see how you feel. I dont hate Lampard and in different circumstances he would have been a great appointment, we are simply too toxic for an inexperienced manager.

I agree in that it makes sense to keep Lampard and let him build a team long term but for me thats something we should do if we are in the PL.

In the Championship we need a pragmatist who knows how to win/draw by hook or by crook and get us back up the season after before we lose the parachute payments etc.

A season in the Championship wouldn't kill us as DCL/Pickford/Mina/Allan and possibly Richarlison will all be off at the minimum which will claw in funds to cover the losses, and the stadium will still be built as its Moshiri's golden egg to make a profit on any future sale - so realistically we need to get someone in who gets us back up.

Likewise I still believe if we had a pragmatist at the club at present they could still keep us up.

For arguments sake say if Alladyce was reappointed tomorrow - I would give him 2 seasons even if it we know long term its not ideal because he'll give us short term stability which is what I was hoping Benitez would have offered whilst BMD is being sorted, big earners go out of contract.
You've changed your 'kin tune.

Watford? A side who, quite frankly, no pun intended, are as likely to stay up as we are? A club with a better manager than us? We're in no position to condescend to them.

You can blame players for making repeated mistakes - but who's picking them? Any idiot knows you cannot rely on the Holgates, Iwobis, and Godfreys. You might be forced to play one of them - or two at a stretch - but Frank plays all of them and adds in the likes of Kenny and Keane at a regular rate.

He can't organise a defence - and his strikers can't score. He has no midfield to speak of. He signed a Care in the Community case in Ali and the invisible man from Man United. These were his marquee signings. I see no improvement under Frank. And zero hope.

ANYBODY but Lampard improves our chances, remote as they are.
What a tit

Who you picking at CB? Instead or at full back
Or in midfield. Dele is a 2nd striker, so you want Frank to play him as a holding midfielder. He played Branthwaite yesterday. He’s played Mykolenko the last 2 games. He’s had no midfielder the last couple of games you clown.

And he’s tried virtually every players at 2/3 times since he came in. Lost 3 players in his first 2 games and more since.

And Hodgson is a shocking manager. You ask Liverpool or Blackburn or palace if they’d change this season for the previous 3
Or England. He’s a dinasour who’s living of getting Fulham to a europa league final
And something he did 50yrs ago in Sweden or Switzerland.

Remember him paying 7.5 mil Kevin davies and 6mil for Christian Daily ? basically killed a very good Blackburn team

So if we gave the job to Trevor Francis, that would give you hope because it's a new manager?

alrighty then
At least he would have more experience than Frank ? but seriously I’d go for Big Sam he is vastly experienced in these situations, no one can really argue with that, he couldn’t save WBA but they were in a right old mess when he went there. Atm it’s still in our hands.

Well I think your a massive wrongun for wanting Allardyce but that's just my opinion on that particular shout.

Apart from that appalling shout I'm sure your a lovely person and passionate Evertonian

We won't be able to afford to keep any of them as we plummet through the divisions. These players are finished. We now need somebody to coax three or four performances out of them instead of telling them to find their balls in public - a few short weeks after exhorting them to "enjoy the football". A PR man.
Plummet through the division ?
I didn’t realise theEsk had changed his name

Totally agree, Frank imo was the rightish manager at the wrong time.

I hate Allardyce, I have hated him more since he lumbered us with Tosun. But I love my team more than I hate that man and I think he would keep us up. That’s how bad we are and how much of a poor position we find ourselves in. It is very depressing.
