He’s obviously not been mistake free but I just cannot understand calls for him to go given the context of the last five seasons

Weed out the rubbish, get some young quality in and build something without the constant pressure of relegation.

Think people forget that he isn't trying to implement the long term just yet, he is trying to save us from relegation.

I like him. He loves the Everton atmosphere and bought right into it. Fist pumping. He looks motivated, wearing his heart on his sleeve.
Shame about it being a results business really.
Couple more wins and he gets to go again in September.

You can see the makings of a base upon we we can move forward with him. He gets football, he gets us. He just needs to find a way to survive and have a summer to build for the future. He has ideas to get us there.
