Until he can sort his own players out, that is the best formation that suits this current lot and its working. I just wish he had started a bit more with that than 3 at the back which I'm not against but we just don't have the personnel for it.

Been up and down , but seemingly finally settled on a system that works. Should have beaten Burnley, got a draw at West Ham and now beaten United with it.
Criticised him enough for some of this tactics but last three games couldn’t have done much more - also FairPlay for putting Iwobi in the 8.

My only issue today is why he didn’t try and do anything about the right side after 60 mins. Gordon was goosed and was not helping Coleman and Man Utd kept attacking down our right side and getting in behind. Lucky their end product was crap. They even had Harry maguire on the edge of our box taking shots at goal at one point. Needed to take Gordon off and bring on gray sooner and maybe bring on docoure earlier as well to help that midfield from getting overrun.
Martinez got that job because they pay him 1m a season because we made up the rest of his original contract … same as koeman …. Koeman went to Holland and done nothing then went to Barca and ruined them and is now back at Holland . Bobby has one of the greatest selection of players in international football and has done nothing.
Carlo has gone to real when Barca are a shell of their former selves and I believe he just seen altheitco win the league last year.?
Keep delph fit ( I know) even if it’s for half the games , get DVB available and we have 4 cm to choose from, having iwobi playing well there means we can actually field a premiere league centre midfeild and actually have a chance of winning. DCL need to put hang up his hand bags and put his shooting boots on and we may be able to pick up 3 more wins… and that may just be enough, if Norwich win this weekend then a 4 point cushion coupled with 9 points should be enough
I was thinking the same , needed dacoure on. I was thinking who I would take off, I feel he would have taken Gordon as he tires during games but having delph in there after not playing for so long must have been a consideration. He can literally break down at any time. Imagine taking Gordon off ? Sod’s law would have had delph pulling his hamstring 2 minutes later .
