2021/22 Frank Lampard

Pep and Zidane, rare exceptions, but most top managers struggled in their first few jobs.

Im not for 1 second suggesting he will make that tier, but he needs time, granted he doesnt have much atm, but nobody becomes a top manager overnight.
Has Frank really struggled in all his managerial jobs, though? He took Derby to within two goals of the Premier League and he got Chelsea into the top 4 when they literally weren’t allowed to sign a single player.

And he’s improving us, slowly but surely. He inherited a total mess and he is remedying that. How many times have we beaten Man Utd over the last decade? Three times? Benitez accrued just 6 points from his final four months in charge. 6 points!

Goodison is really becoming the 12th man for this team, a performance like that yesterday away from home and you get 3 possibly 4 points from the last 2 away games. That performance, team and formation if possible must be the template for every game from now until the end.

Godfreys best game for us in a long time
Mykolenko best game for us
Delph was quality doing the basics and being composed on the ball
Iwobi was MOM for all his crapness since he's been here i cant help but like the guy
Richarlison back to annoying the opposition

One of the most brain dead things about yesterday was why were Utd taking short corners against the worst team in the league at defending direct corners?

I love that he gets us, but I remain worried that he isn't a great manager tactically. However, with the right people around him we may have ourselves a quality Everton manager.

If we do stay up, I would for stability sake, like him to have the full season and the opportunity to rebuild the squad.

I disagree i think he has shown he is tactically good, the problem is the players mate and individual errors and when your forced to play Keane Holgate Kenny Godfrey who almost have one or two mistakes per game in all of them it becomes an impossible situation. Yesterday Keane made a couple on the first half but luckily for once we never got punished.

I think how we played yesterday and against City is not how we will play when the personnel is different, he is just trying to find a way how to get results with a load of crap inconsistent injury prone squad.

Rangnick now too, confirming that our left side with Myko and richy marauding, was too much for them.

If Richarlison signs a new deal then we'd be set long term on both flanks.

Mykolenko/Richarlison
Patterson/Gordon

Id like to see Godfrey and Branthwaite develop further at centre back and the recruitment focused on two key players. A centre back and a defensive midfielder to complement them.

The same moaners, eager to write off any footballing talent at Everton to show they’re more disconcerting than others, almost willing Lampard to fail so they can say their agenda was right.

Evertonians it doesn’t have to be this way. If we work together we can ridicule and isolate them to the figures of fun, the pariahs they should be. They truly are the enemies of Everton.
