Nah, no way in this season are you going to need +40 points. Norwich are gone, Watford 99% so for me, it's us or Burnley.

37 keeps us up, would lean towards 'probably' for 36.

After Norwich doing us a favour I think 3 wins should be enough. That would leave burnley needing 13 points to draw level with us …. I can’t see them winning 4 of their last 8 games of 3 wins and a draw. We also have the better gd although that could change if we get spanked by chelsea , rs or Arsenal

Toughest job in the league imo. I'd say at least 60/70% of the playing staff need replacing.

This is a do we stick with him warts and all hoping foundations are being layed. Club is crying out for some kind of structure now. The hope is that you have got the right people in place at the start and not wasting amother few years just to start from scratch.
Thats why benitez and to an extent ancelotti were not good appointments

One thing I have to hand to Frank is that he is getting a tune out of Iwobi, something
I thought impossible coz Iwobi has played at no. 10 before and he was pants. For years.
Thing is, he isn't playing as a number 10 at the moment, he's playing pretty much as a number 8, which gives him the opportunity to drive forward with the ball, something he is well capable of doing. He brings to the team, pretty much what Doucoure did before his injury, power and mobility to our weak static midfield. At the moment Iwobi is performing better in that role than Doucoure, who has not looked the same player since coming back. In fairness to Iwobi, he's probably also a technically better player than Doucoure.

Anyone else notice that Dunc has basically disappeared since Frank arrived. Always used to see him in Carlo's and Benetiz's ear and bouncing around on the sideline. I don't really notice him anymore.

The club have given him a new role in the community.

He’s still on the bench though I think? Frank must have told him to stay put.

He was outstanding Saturday, its only really when you see the post match analysis and heat maps that you realise just how much he was putting in to that performance. Its difficult when you are in the midst of the game but a few around us were saying the same, he was having a blinder.

Hes a strong lad too, quite solid built but before I never had that confidence in him using his strength but he definitely showed what he can do.

I hope for us and him it continues as it will still be an all hands to the pump for at least most of the last 8 games but we have shown more against the 2 Manc clubs and the geordies that show me we are better, albeit not by much, than our position shows.

We have to build on it, winning breeds confidence lets hope it continues.
