He occupies the strangest place of any manager I can think of at this club. I've said it a few times: if he keeps us up given all the turmoil he walked we need a statue of him to acknowledge it; but if he takes us down he'd have to leave.

I'd still even now keep his situation under review for the next couple of games.

It's just bizarre.

Maybe it’s your thought process that’s bizarre and not the situation ?

If he wants to get us really on board, he needs to be seen collapsed outside the Lobster Pot, at 3am, covered in his fish dinner, with Christine screaming at him, whilst simultaneously webbing him around the head with her Balenciaga`s
Quote of the month for using the word webbing, which i haven't heard for ages!

He took a massive gamble coming here, he is very much in last chance saloon in his career…if he was at the helm if we got relegated then I don’t see him managing anywhere for a good while - if ever again. Whilst if he keeps us up I do think he has something about him that lends himself to be a decent manager…such a weird one.

I think I’d be excited to see what he could do with a full season behind him and a good transfer policy in place. Seen enough from the way Iwobi, mykolenko have developed under him that he has potential - at the same time he has had some howlers imo, the three at the back debacle/Kenny at wing back/not giving Patterson a chance ahead of Kenny.

With the pressure off he might develop his own style.

With Derby he was a new manager and the job was a novely - a laboratory to try things out, yes, but with inferior players; at Chelsea he was under the microscope of the media and in control of players who are top notch but know how they want to play the game for the most part and that's not the conditions to develop your own method; at Everton he has been thrown into a crisis and has not had a chance to do anything but get players to work hard and give their all.

If he keeps our top flight status then for the first time in his managerial career he'll have the breathing space to work with top flight players - and a summer to get rid of those in this squad he's learned already are not able to carry out his vision - and create his own style.

We'll find out what he's gfot next season.

He's got a reputation for working well with younger players and I think we've got a good spine of younger players in the squad.

Personally I think we should use the remaining games to blood in more younger players. Let's be honest, they couldn't do any worse than the likes of Keane and Kenny.

If we stay up, great, if we go down, we've at least got a young squad with some experience that we can develop further.

I'm a a fan of Frank. Hopefully we stay up and he gets a full offseason to get start building his own squad. A major part of our issues is the accumulation of ill-fitting players signed by several different managers in recent years. Really need the academy, youth teams, and first team having an identify.

Hopefully Farhad and his crony Kia stay out of our transfers. Don't need any more El Gahzi's
