Ex Roman era staff jumping off the gravy train especially when said gravy was and key to their success. Importing another club job for the boys. Cronyism is cronyism.
However, saying that support after professional on pitch career has ended is a big thing in all professional sport and increasingly important and should not be easily dismissed. Many professionals who speak on the difficulties after pitch career has ended often quote Everton as one of the better clubs.

I just like thr thought of an entirely new backroom team. Sweep out the kack, the hangers on and the failures and start afresh! If that means brining ex players in, i am fine woth that as long as they have built a reputation in coaching or sports sciences. Bringing them in because they once worked for us and have nowhere else to go is not a good business model.

Pressure. Our players are collectively the weakeast team mentally in the league.

It's crazy how managers age, the pressure is immense.

They undergo the same transformation I've seen from US presidents who come in with brown hair and leave with grey.
