Both derby games.

2-0 Vs 4-1
9 shots Vs 8 shots
1 on target Vs 2 on target
17% Vs 31% possession
169 passes Vs 269 passes
55% Vs 62% pass accuracy
8 fouls Vs 8 fouls
1 corner Vs 3 corners

1 manager was being called to be sacked immediately, everyone still maintains he should have been sacked after that match. The other is being praised for being tactically spot on, giving it a go and being positive in attack.

See the part where conceding 4 at home is worse than 2 at Anfield though, don’t you.

And one manager is trying to dig us out a hole the other one had a big hand in creating.

I was against Lampard before the Man utd game because I felt he wasted key games tweaking things and trying things not suited to the players he has.

But the last 3 performances/results give no reason but to be behind him. In all them games he has got as much as can be expected from them players. I think he's doing well now, albeit this whole relegation situation could have been avoided if he arranged the team better in games like Newcastle, Southampton, spurs away. But it is what it is now and we are still well in this with a chance.

We were never winning. 2-0 is a decent scoreline really if we were to lose. Tactics were fine.
So many kopites and closet kopites fuming we sacked Rafael desperate to put a boot in today.

It was always unlikely we get anything from this. The game plan was fine and we could have snatched that had the refs not decided to throw the rule book out.

A loss is a loss. Frank has been heralded today as getting it tactically spot on and giving it a go, despite either matching or playing worse than he who shall not be named.

Frank has had 12 premier League games now, I think that's plenty long enough to suggest he's playing in his own style of play and should be judged on that, not the failures of the previous manager.
