You're the hero we all need, Dave....they think they can cover their tracks now it's all turning out ok again.
Absolutley no chance of that happening.

Of course he takes blame...and so too do the fans who almost cratered us.
Dave, that Watford game was sensationally bad, all we had to do was see it out at 2-1 and it was job done, we contrived to concede 4 in 15 minutes, arguably the biggest collapse of a match any Everton manager has had. We followed that by losing 4 of the next 5 including the biggest home defeat in a Derby since 1982Some fans couldn;t wait until a game like Watford at home came along. They were delighted as it gave them the excuse to launch a campaign to pitchfork Benitez out...and it almost cost us all.
Well done. The most selfish act I can remember.
Well you cant pick and choose who you will or wont support.I would support Martinez if he was given the job again, I wouldnt like it, but he would get my full support, they all have, bar 1.
I think it's a tiny bit harsh to lump Silva in with the other two there, personally, as things were going OK under him until injuries and a calamitous transfer window robbed him of a midfield. Not if there looks like a plan to get us out of the rut, if indeed we have one. Benitez, Silva, Koeman all didn’t, that’s why they went
What a day that was.Dave, that Watford game was sensationally bad, all we had to do was see it out at 2-1 and it was job done, we contrived to concede 4 in 15 minutes, arguably the biggest collapse of a match any Everton manager has had. The Arsenal win should have been the push off to rectify the season, instead we lost 3 of the next 4 and he was done
Actually, I can.Well you cant pick and choose who you will or wont support.
Pathetic your (dis)grace - I and many others did not want Benitez full stop, but we did not want him out from early doors - he got a chance and support from nearly all Evertonians I know, he just blew it,spectacularly. You and people like you wanted Benitez out from early on; that put us on a downward spiral that almost cost us our PL status.
Struggle all you like but you and your kind almost sunk us.
Never forgotten and never forgiven.
OK, the place went toxic, but that was absolutely nailed on to happen if things went south. Benitez took the job in the knowledge that he was disliked and that he wouldn't get much leeway. Things panned out exactly as you might have expected them to - Deeply unpopular manager gets no patience from fanbase.
It's nonsense to focus your ire on the fans though here. Benitez oversaw the worst run of form in the club's 144 year history. I'd love to ask the players how much of that they felt was down to the atmosphere from the fans and how much of it was down to the tactics and atmosphere at the club that the manager was responsible for. We may never know. I have to say though Dave that your constant harping on about the fanbase being to blame smacks v much of your mate Benitez - it's NEVER his fault, there's always someone or something else to blame.
Not in this man's army.Actually, I can.
You have an army?????Not in this man's army.
We were on a run of 2 league wins in 11 when Silva leftI think it's a tiny bit harsh to lump Silva in with the other two there, personally, as things were going OK under him until injuries and a calamitous transfer window robbed him of a midfield.
He was backed at the start, when he was winning games, he was mostly given a free ride by the fans.Question: do you think if the fans had gotten behind Benitez the way they have Lamaprd we'd have been in this mess?
Not a chance. The players would have responded a lot better than they did for a manager hounded by the fans.

I didn’t know I was picking the team and tactics, and telling the players they weren’t good enough, oh sorry, that was your Spanish god. He put us on the downward spiral and almost sunk us, enabled and assisted by people like you and the rest of the cardinals, who absolved him of any sins at all, whilst you watched him destroy the club you say you love - the evidence was in front of your faces but you lot did nothing but sing his praises.
I and others like me have clear consciences and have no need for any forgiveness or absolution from the likes of you - you gave up any rights to that with your behaviour and your unfaltering support of the Spanish dud.
Own it and move on - it must be killing you seeing what fronk is doing with this team and the fans. Everything your hero couldn’t.
Look around you. We are legion...You have an army?????
