...and we won 2 out of the first 9 games under Lampard.

Look, it's great that Lampard has turned this with the help of the fans, but he's nothing - just like all the other managers and players. If Everton would have been beaten or even drew against United there'd have been a stampede to get him out...and rightly so. He looked finished after the Burnley loss.

Football throws up turning points, and thankfully for all of us including Lampard a turning point happened against United.
When im made mod, I want you to know, im banning you, for this.

And theres nothing you can do to stop it happening.

Pope @davek the worst and the cardinals of fatikeks city are still salty as I see, and continue to push the beatification of Benitez.

Sorry your hopelessness, you will not be able to canonise tapastits - saint francis of Romford will save you’re lost soul.

You and people like you wanted Benitez out from early on; that put us on a downward spiral that almost cost us our PL status.

Struggle all you like but you and your kind almost sunk us.

Never forgotten and never forgiven.

Benitez put us on a downward spiral, not us fans, we didn’t select the team or tactics that failed to stop us falling to one win in 14

Do you really not think Benitez takes any sort of blame here?

A decent half dozen games at the start of the season and a couple of decent bargain basement signings are in his favour, but I'd venture he has far more red in his ledger than black.

Some fans couldn;t wait until a game like Watford at home came along. They were delighted as it gave them the excuse to launch a campaign to pitchfork Benitez out...and it almost cost us all.

Well done. The most selfish act I can remember.

Of course he takes blame...and so too do the fans who almost cratered us.

Spot on. The usual supa bloo suspects with their Lampard foam fingers will be the first demanding his head when not *if* we go through a 1 win in 7 run next season.
Not if there looks like a plan to get us out of the rut, if indeed we have one. Benitez, Silva, Koeman all didn’t, that’s why they went

Usually you, isn't it Jimmy? The only manager you tied your flag to was Rafael Benitez. You're a very odd man.
