Results driven business aka he's only got a few games left to prove himself.
Hopefully the "players can be fit" aka wait till Dom is fit......

...

.
I saw the players fitness comment as a dig at the players. Tim is canny. He knows this is not good enough right now. From players - and manager. When you recall that he himself was part of the recruitment process for Lampard, the writing is on the wall.

Yes could be that too although the "wait till Dom is fit" narrative has been there for two seasons now and he still isn't fit. Maybe it's time to think of a different plan? Yeah that's why I posted it he was involved in selecting Lampard, yet wasn't very convincing in his backing of him.

I think if they can get somebody they would like to work with during the World Cup, they will do that. I think they'd prefer to stay with Lampard, but have lost whatever belief they might have had in him. He has probably done enough to get the next two games - but they are against Wolves and City. The City loss might be a time-honoured "expected defeat", but it comes straight after what could be a disastrous defeat to Wolves. I doubt he survives that with managers possibly available.

I just think we are now approaching inevitability. So, the only hope is they can get somebody who would be an obvious improvement. But it's Everton and Moshiri is almost always too slow to move...until he does.

If you trade in a coach who gets less than the sum of the parts for one who gets at least the sum of the parts, then yes, it makes a difference.
It's the essence of a gamble which just hasn't worked here. Moreover, it appears to have made things worse as recent seasons have made the avoidance of relegation rather than challenging the priority. Understandable why people are twitchy about having another go.

Meanwhile, back in the real world...

Mate, there's no way we're getting one top forward, never mind three.

And definitely not in January.

We improved Defence and Midfield this year.

If next year we improve the attack and promising depth then we'll be stepping up.

Haha why is this a default with certain posters when they lose an argument, it's pathetic

Should we do a poll asking whether youre an Evertonian or not?

Would that work for you?

"Do you think that @Toff33Blues99 should have some basic knowledge about Howard Kendall...

...or is he not an Evertonian?

Would you welcome such a poll?

You literally do not understand my post about Kendall + the similiarity between him, SAF and Arteta as they began at Everton, United and Arsenal.

Either youre a child, stupid or not an Evertonian.

An Evertonian would know 'something' about Howard Kendall and the clubs history.

"If you know your history"

Even a United fan or a child who knows a little about Arsenal would see the similarity unless they dont know anything about Kendall.

As for "losing an argument" are you arguing now about things you clearly and admittedly know nothing about?

No need to reply.

He isn't going anywhere I'd wager
No, which is more dithering from the club. What have they seen so far to suggest he will turn it around? All his time here so far has been under stress. No period of stability. Bite the bullet and get someone in so we can have a stress free Everton season.
