Didn't we replace Benitez with a far more unmerited manager, who hadn't really achieved very much?
Isn't it true that, especially foreign managers, receive far more criticism in the English press than the likes of Stevie G and Lampard? Although they are often far more competent and have more experience.
Haven't some here made fun of Dyche, and similar managers, and undermined their performance, while they have highlighted Lampard as manager?
Are there not some here, who, despite the fact that the opposite has been proven, still claim that Lampard must be given time, and then Everton will improve? Just look at Alex F, Howard Kendall, etc.
As for Benitez, it is of course speculation, and he was never a good hire in terms of history, but I, in terms of background and CV, am far more confident that we would have been in a better situation today.
The longer Lampard is manager, the less time the new manager gets and the more he has to clean up. Let's not waste more valuable time. Because there are no good arguments for continuing with Lampard, as long as you don't believe what his media friends say, and mix up the player and the manager Lampard.
