I dont disagree mate. And I was disgusted we went into the season with Maupay Rondon etc.

But we used to be the keystone cops at the back.

I'm not disputing it at all. But this narrative we could have got by with Keane Holgate etc is absolutely rubbish.
Bu the issues is that Tarkowski was a free transfer, that was probably boxed off in May. And Coady was a loan. We didn't scour Europe looking, it was horrendous from the club, and the man responsible is hiding behind Lampard taking the flack

I don't like his post match comments one bit.

Don’t like them comments at all, we didn’t play well, we didn’t put in huge effort, we didn’t control the game, it wasn’t bad luck.

He’s not for changing, he’s a goner, no way this team is picking up results playing how he wants, they aren’t good enough. No point saying I thought we should have played more long diagonal balls - you are the manager tell them.

Very badly judged comment about the fans getting edgy. He’s feeling the pressure.

Who actually signed off these signings…FL or KT?

Poch is a lot more of a hot property than Emery.

Is he? I'd rather have had Emery from the two.

Emery has the higher profile and better credentials IMO

Plus we have no money to pay him the wages he wants and I don't think he'd put his reputation on the line in all honesty.

We do.

I can't see any changes impacting us this season, i think we're down personally. We needed, more than anything else, a threat; the DoF and the club failed. We're paying the price for 6 years of mismanagement and it will take a fantastic January just to survive

Wouldn't argue with that but if we go down we sack Lampard anyway.

The quandary we probably have is that sacking Lampard + staff blows most or all of the limited January budget we have. Alternatively, we gamble on keeping Lampard and hoping Kev has lined up some quality signings who come in and make an instant impact. I’m torn as to which of these scenarios I favour at the moment! If we could get Poch I’m sure he could get more out of this squad than we’re currently seeing.

That today was a team absolutely clueless and useless. That team today deserve to go down. That team today have nothing about them at all. We can call out the board, the manager, the coaching staff, the tea lady and there'll always be nuggets blaming the fans. But all of the above isn't going to get changed is it this month? So what we see on the pitch is what is going to have to try and get themselves out of the hole. Whose up for the fight PLUS has sufficient quality? Tarkowski and Coady won't go missing.....anyone else? Nah I'm not so sure and we look like a really REALLY poor side lacking even in the basics

Agree but we had to strengthen the defensive side of midfield too. Hence Gana, Onana.
Its a right royal mess.

I honestly think their was a softness and under belly they tried to fix first, thinking DCL would come back and we'd have him Maupay and Rondon.

If I was a manager out there worth my salt I'd have nothing to do with this lot whatsoever.

The likely replacement we'll get will be an utter chancer looking for a big pay day.

So who is that?

I'm hearing loads of sack Lampard shouts but the options look limited or out of reach.

I've no horse in the race to argue on who'd replace him. We're 4months or so into a rebuild and scrapping the blueprint for a new set of builders with the same tools so.

I'm not sold anyone can improve us without a January window. So IF Thirwell is the head DoF, he'll be having final say on transfers regardless of who the manager is.

Neither is Moyes. Utter madness to think he'd leave West Ham for a worse squad of players.

We need goals no matter who comes in. We had plenty of chances to kill the game today and the same in previous games. Dyche coming in for example screams Big Sam for 6 months.

If we were to get a new gaffer it would be to carry on the plan Thirwell has drawn up and look for years ahead.
Thelwell has a plan?

What would that be?

Sell our only goalscorer and sign a load of defenders and non goalscoring wingers?
