Yeah.

Don't personally think we played "well" but I do think we were the better side with the clearer chances.

We far from played well, although we had more chances and arguably our chances were the better. The issue is the inability to be clinical in front of goal.

If we’d scored those goals and won today, things would be much rosier. But we didn’t, and the pattern suggests this is a growing trend.

Who has hired the magnificently misunderstood Benitez in the year since we we dispensed with him!?

This is not really about Benitez, but about the rationale of certain sections of the fans and those who decide at the club. If the boat sinks with an experienced captain, then you do not leave the helm to an almost completely untested manager (provided you are not a football genius) who has obviously benefited from his name and friends in the industry, and whom no club would touch, or had trust enough to hire. When you see that the boat sinks exponentially after the new inexperienced captain takes over the helm, and this trend only continues, especially after the passengers have stopped pumping out water, then you should admit your mistakes, and look for a new captain before all hope is lost.
