What happens if we beat city? Stick with Lampard and the lads. Let's support them.
Reality is they will pump 4 or 5 goals past us.

I don't even care really about whether we stay up or not under him so much as that there is nothing to suggest he knows what he's doing or building anything and should be sacked on that basis. We’re in a right pickle aren’t we? Results performances and league position suggests we should fire him, on the flip side he hasn’t been here 12 months yet and neither was the back 4 or the midfield. I don’t want him him sacked because someone needs to be given enough time to build something, but I suppose you have to warrant that time and steer clear of relegation.
We don’t have the correct people at the top to be successful so if we was to be relegated I’d guess we would plummet like a brick through that league also.I don't even care really about whether we stay up or not under him so much as that there is nothing to suggest he knows what he's doing or building anything and should be sacked on that basis.
Hell I was saying this at the end of last year when we were playing championship level hoofball and was assured we'd see progress when the pressure of imminent relegation and better players came in. We have better players now in midfield and defense, there isn't any real pressure and it's still crap. He just doesn't have the ability needed to manage at this level.
Lampard has never shown in his time year that he can string a consistent set of results together. What happens if we beat city? Stick with Lampard and the lads. Let's support them.
Onana is actually pretty poor in the air. He is tall but not overly stocky.Benitez was the same every week picking Rondon when everyone could see it wasn't working but stubbornly sticking to his guns and now 12 months later Lampard doing exactly the same with Maupay.
We need a physical presence up front and I don't know why he doesn't play Onana as a battering ram 10 a la Fellaini, it probably won't be his best position but he makes a difference. On his debut he created the goal that got us back in the game and then very nearly scored an equaliser, he also got an assist in the box for Coady's goal at Southampton. Sticking him in the box for the last 10 of games when we are at home is a decent option as he will occupy defenders and create panic.
That's true and without trying to be an apologist he hasn't half had some bad luck with injuries to players and sometimes us just not being clinical enough. He still has the good faith he earned saving us last season for me and I hope he can find a solution to get us out of this mire. Think more than ever the team needs the fans to get behind them.Lampard has never shown in his time year that he can string a consistent set of results together.
Maybe we don't, however Lampard being hired was a sign of that so fixing themselves would start with sacking him and putting together a proper search process to find the next manager. We don’t have the correct people at the top to be successful so if we was to be relegated I’d guess we would plummet like a brick through that league also.

I mean it's seemingly impossible but it's not impossible. I would love us to get a result then and give the lads that boost of confidence they need.We all wake up and realise it was a dream
We’re 7 managers in to “finding a new manager” that’s why we’re here and why we was in relegation battle last season. If the managers hired aren’t good enough then that’s on the board/owner for hiring them.Maybe we don't, however Lampard being hired was a sign of that so fixing themselves would start with sacking him and putting together a proper search process to find the next manager.
It would be one of the biggest shocks in the history of the Premier league. We dont do pleasant surprisesI mean it's seemingly impossible but it's not impossible. I would love us to get a result then and give the lads that boost of confidence they need.
Whatever happened with that strategic review we underwent a year or so ago? We’re 7 managers in to “finding a new manager” that’s why we’re here and why we was in relegation battle last season. If the managers hired aren’t good enough then that’s on the board/owner for hiring them.
The problem at this club is off the field, until someone somewhere can see and do something about that then we’re doomed!
