Which way do we go?

- This isn’t working, thanks for keeping us up but off you go

- We can’t keep changing every 12-18 months, he’s only had one transfer window

We’re 7 managers in to “finding a new manager” that’s why we’re here and why we was in relegation battle last season. If the managers hired aren’t good enough then that’s on the board/owner for hiring them.

The problem at this club is off the field, until someone somewhere can see and do something about that then we’re doomed!
We've never actually done a proper search! Or at least not for a good while.

Martinez: PL
Koeman: PL
Sam: PL
Silva: PL
Ancelotti: Previous PL experience and also the most well known manager out of a job
Rafael: Dont even know what his previous job was but obviously PL past and extremely well known
And now Frank from the PL.

Just one time maybe we can do it right before claiming it can't be done.

I hope he turns this around but his records up to this moment is atrocious. I don’t think this will happen.

Sell Richy and sign McNeil and Maupay as replacement will cause his job.

Imo we definitely shouldn’t be waiting until he’s sacked to put together a search process.
We should've started the search process last May if we had any idea how to run a club. Maybe sacking him then would have been wrong, but we should have seen back then that this might not work since he was having us play abysmal stuff back then. His struggles aren't some unforeseeable occurrence that we couldn't have prepared for.

You know how this club works though.

Oh yeah forgot him, so it was almost £90m he spent. Insane.

But then lost our best player and goalscorer that you'd only replace if you spent most if
not all his £60mill fee.

I've defended the reasoning of using the money to rebuild and understand the choices (mainly gambling on Dom). Don't forget Dele Alli was another huge gamble they had to make a decision over, which if panned out would've filled a goal scoring hole.

For the first 6/7 games of the season, foundations look like they were working. It slowly unravelled after that.

Think now it's a decision to give Lampard the January window...or a new feller the same window.

But as I've said before...if Thirwell is in charge, targets will have already been decided regardless of who's in charge.

Whatever happened with that strategic review we underwent a year or so ago?
Nothing has changed. If anything, we’ve made more poor decisions.
Yes mate! Again boardroom decisions like offering Iwobi a new contract and supposedly Gordon. Iwobi has been good for 6-8 months and we signed him 3 half years ago I think. Gordon will probably get 80-100k a week contract for 5 years then at him also.

Starting the season with no striker and then finally getting one in of thee we quality of Maupay

A winger in McNeil who’s had the same assists last season as Jordan Pickford this season.

Yeah it was so obvious we needed another attacker wasn’t it, I really didn’t think McNeil or Maupay would be THIS bad though!

Totally agree mate, but it keeps going back to the same problem! The bellends in suits the decision makers, the board, the chairman, they’re the root cause of all of our on field issues.

I moan all the time before McNeil was signed. I hate winger with no pace and his records at Burnley was horrendous. 0 goals and 1 assist and he did not even start for Burnley and some idiot at the club bought him and gave him Richy’s shirt.

Maupay - I tried to convince myself he was ok with about 8 goals per season. Has proven I am wrong. If we are going to blow money on players. Buy the good one who are starters for their national teams. Not some no-mark with zero cap in their mid 20s it means they aren’t very good.

I like to stick with lampard but looks like not working cud repeat failure of last season bringing new manager in last week in January before transfer window closes board need to make a decision this week sack lampard and give new manager time to buy players in transfer window or stick with lampard till end of season, need forwards badly so transfer window in jan is very important.
